I'm not in Princeton, but I'm only about an hour up the road from you in Radford, VA. There are a few of us in the new river valley and have had as many as 10-12 guys come out from Southwest VA and even TN to get togethers. If you're up for a road trip, we have a pretty good spot going and you're more than welcome to come up and crawl sometime. Here's our local spot:

My rockcrawling buddy lives in Beckley. We are currently building a course at Pikeview HS just off of I 77 exit 14. Come down and check it out. We have just started this aspect of the hobby and looking for more places in the area to challenge us

I am the buddy of the upsguy! Hello all!

I live in Beckley, where abouts in the parks do you crawl? We found a very nice place at the Tamarack travel plaza, just behind the travel center.

at grandview i crawl at the overlook at turkey spur and at little beaver i crawl at some rocks behind the restrooms near the picnic area. there is a nice trail that leads back towards the shelters that is pretty nice. is the spot at pikeview on campus or near it? i am in athens 3 days a week for class anyway and that would be ideal to hit up on my way home.

Our flying field is on campus, and the rock track is there as well. We fly Sundays from about 2-dark, so that is when we crawl. You can check out pics of the rock area via our website, www.flyparks.org. Actually, the pics are on our Facebook page, but you can get there from our main page. We don't have much done to it yet, but are trying to get a decent track built.

Our course is shaping up and looks to have good potential. Ran on it a dozen times Sunday making improvements and having a lot of fun. Made a few changes on my LNC and they made a difference. Look forward to crawling with other crawlers and at different courses.

Went to Beckley today to see if the changes I made to my LNC helped. I had difficulty on this course earlier this year but the changes made it a cakewalk

I would like to come up and check your course out sometime. I wish there was a course somewhere in charleston to hit, that's cool that you guys built a course.
