|  What to build? ok I want to have three rigs total - one for me and each of my older boys (too early for the 8 month old, lol). Anyway both of their trucks will be H3s...they're Hummer fans. My choices are a TJ, JK or Hilux with drop bed. I've never worked with styrene so my drop bed isn't going to great so far...and I'm working with the rogue kit. I've also cut fenders off the TJ to see what it would look like and that's not going too hot either. Based on those I'm leaning towards the JK but I'm still undecided... Any thoughts? |

I like all 3 of those ideas... If you're talking about using the proline 2 door JK, it's roughly the same wheelbase as the tamiya hilux. You could easily throw some paint on the lexan body and wheel it while you're getting better at the styrene work.

Its the nb jk that I have and the wheelbase on that is close to 13".

lol - well the hilux is on the chopping block at the moment. We'll see if it sells. Going with the jk.
