Thumbs up Right in the middle of WV

Hey everyone. I live in the geographical center of WV. I'm in the process of building my first crawler. I have a few rc racing buddies close by who are in to crawling. I agree it would be nice to organize something in state. After all we do have some awesome terrain in this state.

My guess would be that Charleston area would be the best center point. I'm about an hour down in the woods from there. By the way, any of you on the 1:1 board MOR?

Yeah, I got a few freinds from there, you're more Maryland and VA than WV. If we get a GTG going it will depend on more than whats close. It will need a place with good crawling, which shouldn't be a problem since we are the Mountian State. Probably need to be someones hometown, helps with scouting the site(s). Doesn't have to be the same place either. Have one closer to some people then another closer to others. I don't really know how this all works.

I live about 15 minutes from Flatwoods. It is the geological center of WV. Braxton co. Maybe That will help. Sorry for the confusion

I think it took me about 5 hours or so to get there from here. Doesn't have to be here, Like jamus said it could always be changed up. But would be good to have at least one local to scout out a good spot.

The spots have to be legal to. I just go to various places and crawl. It would be different with a group though, I'd imagine. I like the places where they cut out a mountian to build a Walmart, or whatever. It's usually free of vegetation, dry, and the rocks are sharper.
