| October 2.2 Comp in Milwaukee
Guys, I am looking at Sunday, October 26th for an OUTDOOR comp (color for SLICK!) for 2.2 rigs at the Bradford Beach location. This is just about a mile south of where we had the last comp. Probably will be a bit cool but not silly cold. Anyone in on this one? Probably the last outdoor comp of the year. I am scheduling our Monthly Online Points Series races for the Mini-Zs the same day at 4:30PM at Mini Speedway if anyone wants to do that as well. |

Location: Park towards the south end of the Bradford Beach parking lot. North Ave. dead ends into the lot. Just about 1 mile south of our last comp at the Filtration Plant. Details: 2 courses for sure, maybe a 3rd depending on time. 6-8 gates each. 8 minute time limit and NO MAX POINT LIMIT! 1st run in registration order, then switch to lowest points first for the next courses. We will run each course together. Cost: $5 We will be using the USRCCA 08' Rules found here:Official RC Crawler Rules 2005-2010 Bring whatever food and/or drink you require! No public bathrooms available, outdoor rules apply! No power available at this time. If you need more information email me at greg@minispeedway.com, or just send a pm. Since this is an outdoor comp we will be using the BIG rocks at Bradford. Should be fun and different than the construction debris at the Filtration Plant! Thank you, and hope for good weather. We'll see you there. |

Guys, The weather for Sunday looks better than earlier in the week but there is still a minor chance of a shower otherwise mid-50s and windy. I think we will be OK but if not we always have the option of heading to the shop and using the indoor course. At this point the indoor course is more geared towards the Losi Mini so bring one if you have one. So, I'll be at the Bradford Beach lot on the east side of Lincoln Memorial Dr. about 11AM to finish course set up. Greg |

October Crawling Report We had a good day and great weather for late October at the 2.2 Comp crawling event at Bradford Beach in Milwaukee. We had 7 guys show up from some fairly far flung spots in Wisconsin with 2 from the Appleton area, 2 from the Whitewater area, and 3 from the Milwaukee area. The courses were set up on the BIG rocks on the south side of the Bradford Beach parking lot and looked deceptively easy. While all sections were doable several spots on each course took their toll on the drivers. Here's how it panned out. 30 - Uber dominator Eddy 48 - Appleton Dave (By way of faster times over Slick!) 48 - Slick 52 - OICU812 75 - Gozer 77 - Schmenzer 132 - Kasper A couple of pix below More Pix on Flickr here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/gasmith...7608406255317/ |

It was nice to meet you and your friend Dave at the comp. Were slowly starting to build a base foundation for this sport in Wisconsin. I'll have to wonder on up to your indoor coarse a couple times this winter.

It was a great event! I'm glad the rustang was able to make the trip, and we didn't get arrested. Thanks Greg, you did a great job setting up the courses. Congrats to Ed on some fancy driving! Thanks again to Gozer who had a spare servo arm. It was great to get some new guys at the comp too.

Well I now have a voice on RCCrawler.com, and I am still suprised by a second place finish. My second wife told me I was fast but this time it was a good thing. I am looking forward to the next comp, and we are working on a new bridge for the basement course.
