Default wi "super" crawler club thread

ok, so i just got my second hustler super, and i know that kasper has an x-crawler, so what about everyone else? any other wisconsinites got some supers? my neighbor has a concrete recycling dump site next to my property, i figured it'd be the perfect place to have a gtg or comp for the supers!

also, i figured devils lake and high cliff state park are great areas for supers as well. what other places in wisconsin have people seen that'd be perfect for super-crawling? if so, let us know the exact locations.

also, if you got pics and specs of your super, post em up right here!

Nice looking rigs, everyone! So, other than wheelbase and tire/rim size, what exactly constitutes a "super class" crawler? I have a general idea, but I haven't looked into the official rules on different classes yet. I assume it doesn't have to be an MOA setup.

Troy.

td, obviously a super has a longer wb, i think that 18" is supposed to be max tho, but i'm not positive. i think wheels and tires height is limited to a certain point as well (i'm gonna hafta look at super-class specs in the competition-forum). the cool thing about supers is that ur not limited on rear steer and/or electic dig. i have "rock cop" just set-up w/ a 3 channel tx and rear steer, but my next super is gonna have it all... stay tuned!

I'm working on one too. Nice supers, guys. Mine is also a Hustler. I'm hoping it'll be done sometime around Christmas. Waiting on a few parts. Nothing major left to do, except build some battery packs for it, wire the ESCs, and program them. Maybe we can meet up sometime.

Yeah it's been along time since I drove it. Running front and rear dig with rear steer. Mine looks sleeper like but it's loaded. Rear steer is much more important then digs in super class. Super class is hands down my favorite class of competition. 2.2's are just to small and roll to easy for me. I've never been that large of a fan of the Hustlers the droop makes them sort of unpredictable at times. But, they can be made in to awesome comp machines in the hands of a good capable driver.

I'm from Mosinee. It's in the central part of the state. I haven't been looking around much for crawling spots, but a friend of mine says there is an abandoned quarry in Rib Mountain, near where he lives, which has been turned into a public park type area. Sounds like it has good potential. I'll be checking it out in the spring.
