With all the snow and the scalers tucked away for winter, it was only a matter of time before "snowcat fever" hit again. I got the new Kyosho SR last year and modded the hell out of it, basically gutting the drivetrain and bumping it up from dual 380 motors to a single 540 sized brushless system. WAAAAY more fun! But I never really liked the SR body compared to the older versions that are almost impossible to find. After some digging around the web, I found Team Blue Groove makes a repro DX body. No decals or plastic detail pieces, but I can work around that. I should be able to use some SR body details like rails and mirrors, along with a pile of other scaler goodies. This might be a good rig to use the flashing police lightbar and an assortment of led's and buckets I've collected. Kind of a "snow scaler" I guess. This body is on it's way. The painted one is just their demo picture.

With a Castle 5700kV motor on 3S, it's pretty fast! The skidsteer style steering system makes it a little touchy to handle, but flinging snow and cruising across drifts never gets old .

Getting further on the GF truck just a few things to finish, so far all of the scx10 components mount right up to the frame rails I made

Any other pert's and deet's you'd care to share on this ride?
(batts, motor, gearing, etc..... )

Are them 2.2s, or just really tall 1.9s?

Mine drifts after letting go of the wireless controller. Emailed rc4wd and they said that happens Because of the small gears and motor!!! Yet my bulldog winch didn't? Oh well I still like it

Drifts when there is tension on it or drifts in general? I'm gonna try and use it without the controller. We'll see how that works out.

Default 'Dawg style TF2 2nd try

Ok, so here we go again . A fresh body to work with after pounding the piss out of the first one. The body came with new windows, lenses, bumper, dash, grill and detail parts (not pictured). A nice rollbar, some scale goodness and more parts coming. 1.55 Pitbull Growlers, Big Boss fender flares and hopefully HD diff gears. Here's a few pics to start with:

I KNEW you were up to something! The kid's rig looks good in green and and his "cheater tires" really give a mean look .

The panel truck looks awesome as always, and the trailer is a great touch. Dammit Super, stop raising the bar!
