I'm running a 19t pinion with a 96t spur. the pinion is the smallest I have. I guess I forgot that the higher number of turns the slower its going to be. It all makes sense now. I will be looking for a lathe motor soon. x-mas present? lol I have a guy at work making my wheel axles. they are being made of hardened steel. They should work pretty good. I've also been thinking about making it longer. I wasnt going to but I would like more room to work with and maybe I can get my links figured out.

Yeah your motor probably spins at 27,000 rpm and the lathe motor only spins a 7,000 rpm.

13"-15" Would be a good wheelbase for a 2.2 rig.
