Default South East Crawlers

When are the comps going to start around here? I'm still working on a new rig but thought we would have had a comp already.

I'll have to keep an eye on this thread...been looking forward to attending my first comp...it would be great if I didn't have to travel too far. The most fun we've had so far is taking the trucks out to Petrified Springs park in Racine/Kenosha.

Hey Jason...I just called my dad up and we got two events marked down on the calendar for sure. I live in Kenosha...so for me...Zion is only 15 minutes away...perfect! I'm horrible with names...but I'll probably recognize you right away when I see you in person. If I don't, please come over and introduce yourself.

Just to clarify...are you referring to coming out "Saturday" for the June meet in Mineral point...or the July meet in Zion? We're planning on making a showing to the Mineral Point meet next weekend but can't make both days...so we're tentatively planning to come and check it out on Sunday only.

Well, it looks like we're on for the July 12th event in Zion...only thing is I'm looking for more info as to location and time? I see on the usrc website, it called for sign-in to start at 11:00 and comp to begin at 11:30. I'm not familiar with rock crawling comps yet...but at the offroad races normally you got guys showing up hours in advance to set up and practice.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but at these comps you're not allowed to pre-run the courses, right? I'm thinking we should be fine as long as we get there by 10:00 or so?

Also, based on previous comps, and average turnout, how long do these events tend to last?

I know this is really late notice...but anybody who has the afternoon free in the Kenosha / Racine area...we'll be at Pets doing some crawling...three of us. We're heading out around 2:00 or so.

Not sure what's up...I'm linking them the same way I linked the other pic from the Illinois thread. :? I'll have to put together a dedicated web page...maybe the free hosting on my registrar doesn't support hot linking.
