I'm gonna have to get out there one of these days. Looks like a nice spot. I think Kasper wants to go to 1000 Islands next weekend. I think the water will be low again by then.

Yeah, it's a sweet spot for sure! I totally forgot about the Hobbytown event today, got a bad case of cabin fever (converting my friends kid's Wheely King most of Saturday) and had to get out and PLAY. It crawls 10x better now, but his nick-name is still "Throttle Monkey" . Jeff (father of T-Monkey)piloted the red Silverado (and also the Blazer, we traded off) and did an outstanding job wheelin' them. The kid did great as well. Most of all, we had a blast . "Throttle Monkey"... also known as "Mr. I won't break it" Last edited by TrailDawg362; 08-30-2009 at 09:04 PM. |

That burger joint was closed, and no sign of your mechanical molester anywhere...musta left town in a hurry! I got the Pro-line Western bumpers mounted up on the Blazer, the front clevis (D-ring?) mounts lasted all of about 15 minutes...then snapped off like twigs. Damn plastic crap! Now the front mounts are aluminum. Sometimes rocks just don't play nice. Last edited by TrailDawg362; 09-01-2009 at 08:20 AM. |
