Another place to check out is Lohrville, not far from Redgranite. I remember hearing about there being a quarry there also. I google-mapped it and saw what looks like two possible spots. Not sure if I'll get there this year, but it's definitely on my list.

Troy.

I am not sure about making it to RG on saturday, all depends on Irene's work shedule. If she works I play, if she dont then I go to an auction somewhere.

I been thunken about course setup and I think it would be a good idea to have Super and Traildawg scope out a couple of course layouts for the 1 Nov red granite comp. I feel we need to have different folks set up courses to keep it fair and add to the challange. Any one who has attempted a course set up by Josh and Jess in the lower level rock lounge will know what I mean. If not Dave and Troy, some one besides me or chris so we all have a hand in the design and set ups.

I think that's a good idea. We could even draw names at the end of each comp to pick who does the next event. Just a thought

Any course I pick out would have to include a water hazzard, that'll eliminate some competition right there .

"Arise, magic blue smoke. Smite mine enemies."

Whatcha think Super? We could do that, right?

Thanks to Super, Mom and Rock Monster for a fun afternoon! It was lil cool in the wind, but not enough to keep me from the rocks. Not sure what happened to the rest of you girlie-men .

Sunday looks to be halfway warm and sunny. Let's do some crawling!

I can feel my fingers again! It was a bit cool in the wind like T-Dawg said but fun none the less. Had the whole place to ourselves (except for those people steeling rocks.). Found some challenging climbs that we might be able to use for the comp. If it doesn't snow before that. (F'n weather)

A friend told me Lohrville is off limits now due to swimming/diving deaths, trespassing fines are a strong possibility. I'd rather give that money to the hobbyshop than the local Barney Fife's. Just thought I'd pass that along :-(.

Troy.
