If the stock shafts don't slide down short enough, they're easy enough to trim. A sharp utility knife is all you need. Measure twice, cut once .

I haven't had a good reason to go there yet. As far as shift servos go, they need to be carefully adjusted or they'll fry quickly. It only takes a small amount of travel to shift, so if the servo is still pushing past that point it will heat up quickly. Keep that in mind when you set yours up. I think mine is set at about 30% travel.

Neither, depending on the radio it should have a travel or endpoint adjustment. Dual rate and exponential change how the steering reacts to wheel input. You want to limit servo throw so it's not stalled. If you don't have those features on your radio, you'll have to play with the linkage to get less movement, like using a short servo arm or a hole closer to the servo output shaft. You only need about a 1/4"-3/8" to move the shifter.

8-32 threaded rod and Revo ends . 1/4x.035 aluminum tubing from Hobbytown if they have it in stock (K&S brand). Lexan paint sticks inside or out, but looks a lil duller on the outside. I'd like to re-do my Dingo army camo on the outside, but removing and re-sticking the decals would be a pain.

Hey guys... long time no post? I guess I sort of fell off the map there...

I had sort of an emergency, and had to have my cornea transplant redone. It pretty much took me out of action for the past year! Anyway, it was a ton of fun crawling with you guys the few times I came out, but my kids just not into it anymore after a year of it sitting on the shelf. I also made the mistake of bringing them by Hobbytown and watching a few races....They want to go fast! So I am dumping my crawler to buy a couple of short course trucks so I can get them happy!

I just listed my Crawler for sale. I figured I'd let some of you local guys know about it, since you would have the chance to check it out in person if you wanted to, and I'd cut you guys a better deal than if I have to mess with paypal or shipping...

Finally got the courage to chop the cage I will be putting aluminum links in place of whats there now. If I can find some black ones most I c r gun metal which wouldn't look right. And itll b getting a dinky drop bed for the rear and doing a hinged hood and putting battery up front and some scale accessories hopefully by mid sping might do a wireless winch up front as well but haven't found a aftermarket bumber I like yet

I've been using the "high brightness" leds from Radio Shack, but they're not always in stock. I checked their website and found some better ones (online only). They're rated at 16,000 mcd versus the 7,000 mcd ones in the store. They're called "super bright", so I ordered a few. Curious to see how much brighter they really are.
