Did you by any chance have any worms lying around

I guess I'll take another crack at getting the TF-2 back on the trails for this season, since I really don't "need" another brand new truck. I'd like the XVD's to improve steering but damn, $40? The 3 link front end kit would be nice too. We'll see about that. The big question is tires. It did ok with 1.9 Flat Irons but I'm ready for something better. Wheel well clearance is an issue, so my favorite Pitbull meats are out. I'm gonna order up the body, round up all the parts and start re-assembling it....hopefully I didn't lose anything important .

What other tires were you thinking of?

Exactly! I can't go much bigger than Flat Irons (4.19") without more suspension or body lift and I don't want to hack the wheelwells. I was hoping to do some nice rubber fender flares on the new lid along with paint and a few small dress-up goodies but nothing too extreme. I'll have to scan the TF-2 threads to find out what will work.

I know you're not as big of a fan as I am with the Swampers, but the regular 1.9's are about the same size as Flat Irons.

Damn, I want some of those stickers too. I forgot when I ordered my winch. I'm not paying $3-4 for shipping stickers!!! Guess I'll have to buy something else.

Opps, I see that they changed it ......free shipping.

I did some wrenching yesterday and got the TF to the bare bones roller stage (yay!). I'm fighting the urge to go hog wild and not buy the 3+4 link kits and XVD's. Linking it would require new coilover shocks, and another stack of bills .

It's sitting on the stock steel 1.55 beadlocks with RC4WD Rock Stompers again, but the Pitbull Growlers have me thinking.....

I'm still "iffy" on the ring/pinion mesh issue with these rigs. I'd hate to dump an assload of money on it just to have a diff grind itself up (again).

I think if you check the lash and make sure they're shimmed right you'll be ok.
