I guess we better make the most of the warm weather when it gets here. This bone-chilling arctic shit has been getting old for awhile now

I wish I had a place to build an indoor coarse. maybe next year I'll have to get one of those micro crawlers and build me a coarse. Just wish I had more room.

I've got a spot cleared out in the basement, going to try and get 5 tables built 3' x 3'. I'll be shooting for construction similar to what we ran on over at Hobbytown. Certainly won't be an extravagant course, just something to fool around on here and there. Just gotta find the time to get going on it.

Same here. I keep looking outside and thinking "It's not that cold out, I could run a truck around." Then I realize how comfy I am inside, and say "screw it!"

Oh well, it'll be warm some day

Same here.

I do have a pretty nice 'B' shaped track snowblown out, though. Thought about taking the eMaxx out for a spin, but..... that's where the dog goes........ and goes,.......... and goes........

Having frozen turds flung out of my Ariens, kinda funny.
Having frozen turds thaw out in my workshop, not so much, no.

I have actually been running my wraith out in the snow a few times now. Climbing snow banks and running up and over drifts. Sunday I actually opened the front door, set it on the porch and drove it off the steps and went back and sat in the dining room with my daughter in my lap. Drove all around the driveway climbing piles and doing donuts until my wife said " what about over there?" I said I can't see. but I'm easily persuaded when I'm showing off apparently and promptly flipped over on its side. I had to get cold then! Damn wife! ,

A week ago this past Saturday, I was jonesing for the woods and some peace and quiet. So i went out to hemlock draw for a walk in the snow. Left the rig at home. I was wishing I had the money to have my wraith outfitted for the snow better. I'm waiting to get rid of some things before I spend more on this. I need some bigger tires, batteries and other upgrades. But I think it could have been pretty fun with at least some wider tires.
I walked the trail in about 1/2 mile or so, then walked the stream bed the rest of the way. Lots of small places where the water is still flowing over the rocks or just barely under the ice.I couldn't help but imagine driving in and out of these little pockets and all around some interesting places in the snow. I think it could have been doable especially with a slightly larger tire. But the snow is kind of deep and when you break through the crust it is very soft underneath. I actually like snow I just hate cold. I think I will try going next winter after the first snow after the ground is frozen a bit

Pro-line 2.2 Super Swampers for scale looks and great performance .

Hot Bodies 2.2 Rovers for an unstoppable comp style tire .

RC4WD has some nice 2.2 tires for your rig also.

It pays to keep your crawler eyes peeled, you never know what you'll find . I might hafta head down to the little creek near my place when it hits the upper 40's....can't take much more being indoors!
