Cheater tires yes.Just because its bigger doesn't mean it can't be scale! You just don't see too many people Rollin down the road on 54's! Or let's say 46's. These are not the biggest 2.2's. Honestly I was looking for something different but couldn't couldn't put the right tire and body together in my mind. And the things I really want aren't available.

Bronco body no. The one I want is too big for the scx. I'm keeping the wheelbase and width of the scx stock (ish). But ford body, absolutely! Can't have the same jeep as everyone else.

It will probably take a while to get this one all built up. I traded my revo stuff for everything I got. Still need paint. I think I have everything else to put the rig together. I do have a few mods I want to do before I run it. Move things around some. Some sort of roll bar, and at least build a front bumper. Probably a rear to.

I will probably sell the g6 body and cage, and I have not decided if I want to keep the treps that came with the kit yet.

You scaler guys may laugh at me and my 2.2's but I just thought 1.9's looked too small on a bigger truck

I hear ya bro. I came from the monster truck/Stampede 2.2 mindset and 1.9's looked too small to me at first. I say run whatever makes you happy, and when you beat me I'll just blame your bigger tires!

That's right, I'm a cheater!

Actually I would call me a nonconformist. I just don't like the norm. I raced a slash 2wd when the sc10's came out and then a 4x4 slash against all the kyosho's. I liked the challenge of trying to make the 4x4 work. On carpet by the way. And they were much simpler trucks. Then I got the TLR 22 SCT and ended up quitting racing, oh well

So I stopped in at the hobby store today after my Dr visit, just to visit, and came home with a deal I couldn't pass up!

Now I don't know anything about it, and I'm hoping I can run it on 3s. But for the same price as a cheap throw away brushed, I had to. And I'm broke! That's how cheap it was. It was a return because it was a fixed timing motor and they thought it was adjustable timing. Said he couldn't sell it so now its cheap for me.

Any thought on how this will work in an scx on 3s? I am concerned about crap getting in the holes, but I'm looking at this as a throw away/ experiment. I'm about a week or so from actually running this rig, but now I'm excited about another new motor.
