Now I don't know anything about it, and I'm hoping I can run it on 3s. But for the same price as a cheap throw away brushed, I had to. And I'm broke! That's how cheap it was. It was a return because it was a fixed timing motor and they thought it was adjustable timing. Said he couldn't sell it so now its cheap for me.

Any thought on how this will work in an scx on 3s? I am concerned about crap getting in the holes, but I'm looking at this as a throw away/ experiment. I'm about a week or so from actually running this rig, but now I'm excited about another new motor.
Bronco I have that same motor in my wraith. It was at devils lake you have seen it. My esc only handles 2s so not sure how it is on 3s. Its not really all that fast. I had the 9.5 in it and that was pretty awesome 😂

I'd carry the gf and leave the truck!

I was hoping to hit Devil's Lake again this year, but damn it's a long ride.

I have a set of these sweet wheels coming (hopefully before this weekend) for the CRC Rubi. Now to figure out how to get the BFG's off the stock rims without destroying anything

I read somewhere along time ago about baking them in the oven at like 350 for 5 minutes or so and they are supposed to come off real easy?

Boiling glued-on tires to get them off the rim? Success!

Painfully blistering both thumbs in the process? Also successful

I never claimed to be real smart.....

Well now, isn't that helpful of you

On the upside, the BFG's are now wider, heavier, and just plain sexy! 14 oz worth of wheels plus 2.75 oz of added weight per wheel.....traction shouldn't be an issue.
