Thats a very generous offer, and a great idea. Problem is, he won't go for it. I've offered to build him a truck, give him parts, ect...no dice. I told him many times that he can come along and drive one of mine. He wants to run his own stuff, which I can respect. He's the one that kinda got me into rc's way back when. Lots of days spent running trails, me with my Stampede and him running his Blackfoot, good times!

The ff-4 is starting to come back together. Got my tranny mounted, got a dig unit comeing in to yet this week.

Got the rear back ont he chassis and body mounted up where I want it. Just have to get the front installed with some delrin uper links, rebuild the front shocks as there a lil to stiff for there own good right now. And the fun part is painting the body.

Then it will run, but will probably need from major tuning.

Default Trail Truck GTG?

** moved to a new thread **

Has anyone given some thought about a trail truck get together? I think it'd be fun to get a bunch of us together for an afternoon of scale trail running. It's been awhile since we got a big group of us together for an outting with our non-comp rigs, just for fun. 1,000 Islands last summer was the last one I remember, which was a blast . Not sure how flexible I can be on days for the event, but if we can come up with a date that works for most people, I can sure as hell try! Thoughts, comments, suggestions?

What are your links doing/not doing? Are they rotating your axle forward or backward when they cycle? Not sure if I can help over the internet.

Yeah Super, buy it for the kid! He's ready to upgrade .

I can't tell for sure by the pic, but it looks like your uppers and lowers don't run parallel to each other which is usually the best geometry for keeping the axle in the right arc as it travels up and down.

OK, now you made my brain hurt

Yeah what Tdawg said, start with your links being parallel and if you wanna mess with squat/anti-squat start small. Great, now my brain hurts.

Hey bud, can you shoot me a list of what you have in a PM? If you got something I need/want, it'll be quick cash in your pocket.
