I was telling chris yesterday that I am feeling the 1000 islands withdrawl. I am about ready to mount up some tire chains and give the out doors a try. Anyone want to loan me a crawler for my outdoor adventure?

Who is going to start building RC Snowmobiles? Some of the same ideas come into play tuning suspension, swapping motors, different track compounds. Who is going to run with the idea?

I plan on getting the materials cost with delivery from Home Depot and Lowes, there is no way that much material (over 5000 lbs) is going to be hauled on my trailer. If someone has access to a car hauler or heavy duty truck we may be able to save a few bucks and pick it up. Comp this weekend so the 20th 21st will be the first chance as long as nothing is scheduled at hobby town.

Well we have to make some decisions here are club is growing to more then the fox valley we are getting crawlers from milwaukee stevens point chilton green bay i really like the fvrcc logo and such but we might need to thunk about the future of the club my thoughts are wanting to expand and personally maybe something like the NEWRCC (Northeast Wisconsin Radio Controlled Crawlers)

We need to vote in a few members for vice presedent, secritary we need a rules commity, President to be eligable to become a usrcca club so lets put our thunkers together and lets get this taken care of not to mention finishing the course in oshkosh.

Well the Fox river runs thru alot of the state so....

Milwaukee is the southeast.....
I think t-buck is just a outcast, or a rebel one of the two.
Maybe he is a wanna-be?

as for chilton & point, close enuf to be Fox river valley I say

Northeast WI is more appropriate I think.

Long live the FVRCC!!!

I agree 100% as of now we are the only club we know of holding omps and such and wrcrc would be a great deal not to mention i have a chance to get the crawler site he said its ours he will hand over the domain name its all set up forum board and all its leave a email and its ours the site is not working anymore but he stills owns the domain name. There again it would be gooder for the future of the club to be more wide spread through out the whole state.

WRCRC it is. WE OWN WISCONSIN BITCHES!!-lol

and the FVRCC could remain alive as a subchapter with authoritive rights over the WRCRC.

I've been doing some research on some new crawling spots. I put together a map of known and potential spots. I stumbled across Wisconsin Geological Localities. There was maps and pix of out crops and the like some parks, some in the middle of nowhere. Mountain area, Dells area, Door Co. and then all of the known spots.

I know I am not an official member, yet. I have crawled at South Shore Park which is about 2 minutes south of where I work. It was pretty fun for my first time out until my rig fell into a huge hole between some rocks. No damage done, but something to watch for if you go.

Default comp

Well I'm really looking foward to meeting the group at Kaspers and as long as my son gets a good report from school tomarrow we will both be there if not I will for sure. Been looking at the basement rock garden for a long time and hope I still remember how to crawl. I haven't crwled for quite a while and will be rusty but we just do it for fun anyways. I have a old style clod pimp cane so lets just say it's now berg but alot of fun for me. My son runs my campbell scale tuber for a 2.2 which is far from a comp rig but he still has alot to learn. He had a 1.9 mrc comp rig in CA. but there not much use for that here. I'm also going to bring large scale hummer for fun and maybe my emaxx super too. I'm just excited to get my stuff off the shelf and get the flat spots off the tires. Well see ya there. Shawn and Alec
