Looks like you switched tires for something shorter, that should help your COG .

Thanks everyone i should of had it done a year ago there is only one issue that i see the roll cage looks so nice but there is to much weight up top with the changes i made hopfully it makes a difference.I have shotened the scx10 back to origanal length and i think i am going to purchase a cgr bronco body for that it has a plastic roll cage and body with seats dont really care for the seats in it but it will be a basher to beat it like a well i will let you fill that in for yourself.Gettiing back to the point of discussion sometimes the bling factor aint always the best for performance.

Get pics of the scx soon not going to take as long as the first build

Cool

Good luck with the build Kasper... I was thinking about the cgr body but like you I don't care to much for the seats, but again good luck on the build post pics up soon.

I have the CGR Blazer and agree that the interior is a little cheesey but with some creative cutting, it could be awesome. The rear deck could be left intact and a real interior (seats, dash, steering wheel) could be put in. I don't have that kind of talent, though.

Gold and white Bronco, a classic paint scheme

Default brushed or brushless????

Hey guys im in the middle of my jeep build and was thinking about going brushless. I was wanting to know if there is a big difference from brushed. I have never tried anything brushless so totally new to that field, if so would you guys kindly point me in a good direction as of what to purchase. I have been looking at the tekkin setups and the novak goat 3s.any help would be greatly appreciated.thanks guys.

I haven't ever run brushless in a trail rig but Traildawg has. I have, however, run the 18.5 Novak Brushless crawler 2s in my comp rig and I like it quite a bit. I'd bet that the 3s would work pretty good in a trail rig, but I'm guessing. Maybe even run a 13.5 Crawler motor.

I was running the Sidewinder system with the 5700 kV motor. Plenty of shit'n'git, but lacking in low end control. To be fair, it was never intended for crawling but it sure had the giddyup to blast around with.

thanks for the feedback guys right now i have the rooster 55t combo in my jeep with a 20 t pinion, would the novak goat 3s 18.5 brushless system be a good way to go?And are brushless motors the same as brushed the higher the turns the more torque the lower turns more speed?

Yes the higher the turn the more torque just like brushed. I never tried 18.5 on 3s but I would think it would work out.

You could always go with the Sidewinder ESC/Integy cheapie 35 turn setup. You should be able to do this combo for under $100 . I'm pretty happy with mine on 3S, and for playing in mud and water a $20 motor doesn't hurt as much if you trash it. Decent low end control, nice wheel speed.

That is what I am running in mine too, I did a little water proofing to the sidewinder and I love it. I built my sons Honcho 78/24 gearing.

Hey Super, I got a question about that Pro-line tuber you're running. Is it possible, or how hard would it be, to hollow out the insides and put in an interior? Been wanting one for awhile now, and I heard all the cool kids are runnin' em .

Yeah I think it's possible, but not easy. You would have to cut out the inside and rebuild it. Depending on what chassis you are gonna put it on, you will prolly have to move the motor and trans in order to mount it low enough I think. You'll have to look it over yourself, you're more of a fab guy than me.
