Hmmmm, 3Racing? They're kinda like Integy, sketchy. The U-joints are steel but I think the rest is aluminum. Let us know how they work out. Personally, I like MIP cvd's.

i would like the mips but at 50+ perset, its realy not in the budget.i was gonna get a set of integys and if i managed to break them then get the mips.but i could only get 1 set of integys so i bought 2 sets of the 3racing.even if i manage to break these drive shafts i can still take the u joints and make my own shafts out of square tubing or somthing ...but ya il let you know how they go

I ran a set for almost 2 years before they just wore out and got sloppy. Make sure you lock tite the allen screws, and use heat shrink or tubing over the ends of the shaft to retain the pin incase the set screws loosen up.

Hello from AZ...

Took a ride out to place called Canyon Lake, Played around w/the crawlers a little but didn't take any pictures of that.

Heres a little of what the ride to the lake looks like. There seems to be "Plenty of Rock" around to crawl.

Dang T-Buck it even looks like there are a few 30's cars to crawl as well.

There are some real good bass fishing spots on that lake, and some awsome 1:1 scale 4WD trails.

Wow! Looks like the scenes from the old cowboy movies. You didn't bump into Clint Eastwood out there did you? Or maybe Wille E. Coyote?
Yup, we're all jealous, enjoy your new playground!

they are ok? for crawling i doubt you would see any knowticable differences but for like short course racing and stuff like taht mabe you will.

on another note, the 3 racing drivelines seem to be working good.that are a little longer then i would like and cause a little binding in the front end at full compression but my trany plate is home made so its a little off to.im happy with them though,im gonna order an strc plate and see if it fixes the issue of being to long in the front

I had a couple of the Turnigy packs and ran them over a year before they went to hell, and got kinda puffy. The only issue I had was the discharge rate seemed a little below what I expected. Sometimes under a heavy load they would brown out a bit so I would get a 40 rate to ensure good power transfer when it is needed.

Went to Mt. Lemmon by Tucson on Sunday & met some guys from the Tucson club. Great bunch of guys & awesome crawling.

Couple pictures of some rock & the mountain.

I love the look of your new chassis Tom. Looks like plenty on areas to test it out.
