So I need some help. I'm thinking of putting some led's in my lexan f150 body. Could you all shed some light (he, he) on what to use, mounting procedures or any other useless info. I was thinking like 4 white ones in front and 2 red ones in the rear. I would like there to be enough light for some night running.

Been thinking of a few things I can do to the creeper for the upcoming comp seiries. One thing I noticed in RG was the ass was to well planted when trying to do steeper climbs and the front would just lift up. well took the rear tires off and they were pretty heavy with out weights, so switched them with the plastic jconcepts beadlocks to lighten things up there and also removed a little weight from the front. Next issues was steering, need more, raised my link up and made a longer drag link, cant get any more steering out of it now. I am also going to get MIP ax10 shafts for it as they actually cheaper then going with a traxxas metal yoke, stampede sliders and the axial retainer rings. and an axial tranny with rrp locker. should give me more wheel speed and lower cog. Gona have to get some test and tune sessions in at hobbytown before the comps.

So for now the creeper is apart but once comps get here the scx-10 is gona be rapped for a few things until I get all the parts I need for the creeper.

Been working on my rigs today, got the crawlers all done for now.

The long one is a project, traded off a brushless buggy for it rtr with a tekin fxr 55t combo, bender chassis, mip centers and some other goodies.

Scaler got the rims and tires, links from the new one and the 35t from the creeper, venom got the tranny, mips and motor

MRC got the esc and servo

I wonder how a 27T armature set to 0 degrees timing would work in the old Integy cans. I've got a ton of them from my racing days, mostly Trinitys and other good makes. 27's usually run hot because of the locked timing, but the 35's are adjustable. Seems like a waste to chuck out the whole thing.....I might have to experiment a little .

Good job on the build progress, Walter. I might have to stop by and borrow a cup of ambition from ya!

Looks like I have some work to do, or well, money to spend. What is everyone running for a motor/esc in their MRC?

I have a tekin FRX and a losi Mini-s motor on 3s and wheel speed is crazy.

Well I am glad we will be having a 1.9 class this year.

So.... I whacked my elbow pretty hard on the edge of skidplate a couple times last week while working on a big military truck. Pain, a few swear words, then shook it off. This last Monday I noticed a marble sized lump on the tip of my funnybone, hmmmm....odd. By Wednesday it doubled in size, and after another hit it's now golfball size . They send me to Occ. Health, and the nurse says "Oh my gosh! We need to get you to Urgent Care." Long story short, they sucked 10 cc's of fluid out, wrapped it up and gave me the rest of the week off (no Saturday either). I think I can still rc though .
