SLACKER . Weekend shifts for me are 13 1/2 hours, but I'm seriously considering packing up my rc's and a change of clothes just to go play on Sunday (if thats the plan?). Since I'd be leaving from Oshkosh, it might be do-able. As long as I don't doze off on the way.

Well, maybe closer to Sunday everyone will have a better idea as to what they're planning to do. I was just tossing out an idea for me to actually NOT miss a GTG. Keep me posted when you guys hammer out the details .

Hey Modean, nice score on the ESC. They're some pretty tough speed controls.

Were you planning to make the Redgranite comp? It's really a nice spot for rc'ing, I think you'll like it. I'm going to try my best to be there, more to "play" than to comp.

Now that I think of it, who else is planning to conquer the big red rocks?

Yes it is, it is a rooster crawler ESC (part #1841). Got it for $48.00 includng shipping, it comes with the box and instructions. I checked the novak site before I bid on it and the seller had only used a 55t motor with it. I hope it works well, pretty excited.

I am going to try to make the Red Granite comp, hopefully work wont get in the way.

Nice score My first ESC on my Ax-10 was a Rooster, I liked it better than my sidewinder until Castle finally added a crawler setting for the sidewinder.

Hope the weather holds and don't for get to rock the TrailDawg van and wake him up. I would steer clear of the van if it is rocking when you get there. I think I am going to work on my project Ford so I can get it out of the garage some time soon.

I am wondering what steering servo's folks are using. I have a Hitec HS-7955TG on my Bully and it is great, but at $100.00 I don't know if I get one for the Losi just to do it. The losi has an HPI SF-5 314 oz at 6 volts, but I have destroyed a couple of these in the past. I don't know of any of us having striped or fried a 7950/7955. Just looking for ideas so if I find a good ebay deal on a decent servo I will bid on it.

I'm running an Airtronics 94780 423in.oz. torque but I payed like 150.00 I think but has worked flawlessly for over a year now. Rock Monster has got a Hitec HS-645MG but he strips the gear on it frequently, but it's only 45.00 replacement gear set is 20.00. NOT advising you to use it just telling you what we gots

I've got a Hitec 5645 on my comp and trail rig @ $55 & only 164oz (6v) it hasn't failed me yet, AND it plays well in water-so far...

That is about the same as my 7955 that can be had on fleabay for $90

I guess you gotta pay to play, yesterday my bully took a very hard nose hit, snapped the servo horn and bent a delrin lower link but the servo still works great. The delrin links are supposed to be so much better, well I managed to put a major bend in one. Today I ordered a set of high clearance lower links from JP Customs. They are like the ones on Kasper's Berg #1.
