Did you race at the old Hobbytown carpet track next to Gold's Gym? I may remember you from there or elsewhere.

Yes grasshopper, there was a moon back then but it was like me, much younger (anyone get that Kung Fu reference?).

I made a long-ass post on the WiRCRC winter series thread about the latest BS concerning the crawler course. Read it if you like.

The truth is, rock crawling will never generate the kind of profits that racing does. That being said, failing to promote the course and scheduled events, and limiting our space definitely kills any chance for a decent or improved regular turnout. With a little more support, we could have a setup that would encourage people to want to come and run their trucks and compete. I've had the feeling from the very start that our "host" only wants to collect the fees, and have very little involvement other than that. It would be nice if the person taking in the money would atleast spend a few bucks on some cheap paper banners or signs. There are a few things we can do, but hey, it's not our store. You only get out of something what you put into it. Yes, I'm frustrated at the lack of support...maybe we should wait for snowfall and build an ice crawling course! Snow is free!

I kinda get the feeling that this is part of the reason why Kasper is "bringing it down a bunch" I know he is not real happy with the lack of attendance...
I personally like the atmospere and terrain better @ KLLRL, but the fact is it is only big enough for maybe 7-10 guys max. HTO has lots of room, but I guess if we don't pay up we'll lose that space too...

Kasper got screwed by Bob plain and simple, I don't know the $ amount put into the course, and it really doesn't matter. Bob saw $ dollar signs when the idea was thrown out about a course there... and that is it. He could care less about promoting us or the course or the comps... IMO

I know I don't get to comps (no rig atm & work), but I am still a very active member of the club. I want and am willing to help any way I can.

Will the sections fit in the elevator @ HTO...

2 wheel peel, baby! I would be in the stock short course class. The 4WD class is wicked fast and bloodthirsty from what I've been seeing. Been down that road with Latemodel dirt oval, too fast and furious for this guy! I just want a fun race truck for the winter season, and the track is like 3 minutes away.

Sorry Stinkyy, I guess we should try to keep the chitchat here . I will delete all non-score related posts if you like.

I keep looking for the scores, too. Maybe Walter doesn't want anyone to know that I beat him like a red-headed stepchild in a black family!

You may want to re-think that....

Axial EXO – 1/10th Scale Electric 4WD Terra Buggy **PRE ORDER**

I'm actually glad I sold the Wraith, this is more along the lines of what I wanted, I do wish it was a solid rear axle though...
