Had a good time at Hobbytown tonight. Plenty of people there asking ??'s about Rock Crawling.
I talked as much as I drove, Like that is hard to believe.

One thing for sure... Kid's unsupervised are not gonna due us any favor's for all our hard work. We are gonna really have to drive that point home, That the course is not a playground for kid's.

I had a funny feeling that kids running loose would be an issue. I'm suprised the course hasn't been damaged yet. It's been an ongoing issue at HTO, no-one wants to put the smackdown on them including (some, not all) parents.

Yes Kasper, the Wreckluse is mine and coming along nicely . I posted some poser/mockup pixs in the 2.2 section. The Pro-line scaler shocks I originally wanted to use can't hold up this beast, so plan B is...? Lots of little stuff to do till it's done though.

I will do my best to make the RG comp, no promises but I'll try .

Well last night i kinda told some folks at HTO to stay off the course with there slashes other non crawlers leaving there marks on the track it was a not so pleasant conversation and in case you all did not know all ready i am a asshole.

Asked one guy there i bielieve his name was DICK if he had roughly $1400.00 to go build his own track and he almost wanted to call me a ass but i beat him to it and said yes i am thank you.

There was a half dozen kids running around the worst thing was they were crawling underneath the rc slot car track and since i was already an asshole and been one for the longest time i also threw them out before i departed.

And the kicker of the whole deal is.............

I am a ASSHOLE they will all agree .

I second it! I also think he deserves an award for having the balls to speak up! No-one wants to be "the bad guy" and pull the plug on someone's fun, but damn, where's the line? People need to understand that Hobbytown isn't Disneyland or unsupervised daycare. In all fairness, I've seen a few "grownups" do some pretty stupid crap too: tipping ramps up high and hitting the ceiling tiles with their rc's, ect. It's just the downside of being open to the general public I guess...

Your signature says it all "You can't fix stupid" but you can beat it with a stick. Like you said Kasper gets the "Big Balls" award! But seriously, someone has to say something, hell, we should all say something! We have to keep the "kids" off of it.

I think Friday/Saturday race days are probably the worst. Parents come to race, and bring the kids along with nothing to do, or the kids race but run wild inbetween. The HTO staff needs to remind people before every event every time that there are rules of conduct. They've been kind of hit and miss on that issue. Thats about the only thing I DON'T miss about racing. We're all there to have fun, but things get out of hand quickly when parents are distracted by racing and/or don't give a damn. Running, screaming, getting into things....not cool.

Rant> over.

WTG, Kasper! You're one A-hole I can really respect.

Sounds like the parents don't believe in telling their kids "no". I take my son with me all over the place and even though he's only 4, he knows exactly what's expected of him or I pull the plug and we go home.

Thinking about trying to trade my LCC for a ax-10.

I tried an axial axle on the lcc and the tires actually balloned. Too much speed not enough grunt.

Im not looking to trade, but I will be putting my MOA LCC up for sale soon. I just dont get the use out of it that I thought I would. I use my bully for bashing or crawling because it takes the abuse well so the Losi just collects dust. I will be looking for $350.00 without the receiver or ESC, it will include the punk dig switch, 35 turn motors and steering servo. Just thought I would throw it out there...

I got creative with my scx-10.

Used the rims, tires and the shocks from the LCC on it.

Gona see how well it works and find a diffrent set of shocks for on the LCC.
