Took the wraith out last Sunday. Short and sweet because of the cold. I intended to get some video too, but the camera was being dumb. Wonder what the neighbors think... |

I played in the snow too . Took the Bliz out for a quick run after dinner. Thing rips pretty good for having to use my 1300 3S crawler pack.

Here ya go. First I bought the SR (red one) and after replacing the crap electronics with better stuff, I converted it to a DF-300. Single motor driven diff with a skidsteer brake/turn setup. Then I found an original DF (topless one). The SR has a CC5700 and the DF has a Velineon system. Definitely different than what I'm used to wrenching on and running. The DF-300 needs to be finished up with decals and lights, the SR has had a bunch of snow bashings already .

What are the tracks made of? Plastic or aluminum.

They make metal ones but stock is plastic, makes the most awesome sound ripping through the snow. On wet or icy pavement you can "drift" it sideways forever .

The next time you take it to H.C. you'll have to let me know. I'll venture out in the cold for that. |

Here's the progress on the DF-300 body, still lots of decals and detail pieces to add yet. This version of the Blizzard has a 2 piece body and runs the battery crossways in the cab. I've only been to Pierce Park with it so far, much closer to home after I'm frozen! Last edited by TrailDawg362; 02-10-2013 at 03:45 PM. |

Thanks Bigred, it's called Brilliant Blue. Not sure on lights yet but the cab roof is wide enough for a lightbar of some kind. Decaling it really sucks because the vinyl stickers are old and brittle...kinda like me! You've seen the red one running before, but now it's 10 times faster. It'll throw snow roosts and actually catch air! Last edited by TrailDawg362; 02-11-2013 at 08:26 AM. |

I never thought I'd say this, but WE NEED MORE SNOW! I'll see what I can do for action shots. I really need both hands on the controls so it's kinda tough.

Hey guys help me! Haha bought I rc4wd 2speed but dont know which truck to put it in. Got the wraith and just bought a scx10 jk unlimited. Was thinking of putting it in my wraith but just put a 35t motor in that truck. So would the two speed be better in the scx10 stock motor and gearing

You pulled the trigger and got the new Axial? Now I'm jealous . I'd put the 2 speed in the JK, but that's just me. Post up some pics when you get a chance.
