There is a few guys up north, they crawl with the MN crew.

A lot of us are out of state and drive a few hours to visit.

Them places look good.

We crawl at devils lake in baraboo.

1. Devils lake state park Baraboo, Wi

2. Mnsterbruiser@yahoo.com

3. Park features massive rock formations and intense views. The park is probably the best spot for rock crawling and trailrunning in our area.

OPFORGUY.....nice name. I work at Ft McCoy as a DA civilian and still do the Army Reserve also.

Anyway....one LHS. On the main drag, downtown Sparta. An ok shop. Mostly planes, some truck stuff. The owner's background is mostly flight, some nitro buggies. So don't expect to see someone very knowledgable about crawling.
There is also one in Lacrosse, about 25 miles away. Still a lot of planes, but a real good parts selection for trucks also.

Hey guys,
Just getting my first crawler together(ax-10) and am looking for gtg's in wisconsin. I live in Lacrosse, but grew up in the Baraboo area and am familiar with Devils Lake and the area. Devils Lake has alot of granite and can be slick, but also has some really nice sandstone areas as well. Any info on upcoming stuff would be great. thanks in advance

Jay

Hello,

I live in West Bend, and I have been to Devil's Lake last year for a GTG. It was great! but, I didn't know what to expect. Now, I'm a little more seasoned.

I have a few spots where I live that I can crawl, I have yet to hit kettle moraine I heard there is a lot of good spots out there.

I'm up for some crawlin' as long as it's not to far to drive

I'm looking to put together a trial area.

PM me if you want to get together for some crawlin'.

Default Wisconsin Crawlers Lets Organize!

Alright guys I think it is time for a few of us to get together. I am based out of Beaver dam. I Have talked to a few people and am starting to get a little wisconsin group together. If you would be interested in joining up with Us on a get together Please PM me. Once I get a list of people and location I will hopefully be able to plan a get together. Please in PM list where you are based out of, If you are willing to crawl in the snow, and a place you know would be toward the center of the state. Oh pleas also list what type of crawler you have. Super comp, 2.2 crawler, or scaler. I think most of us would be willing to drive up to 2 hours to crawl with other people in the state. If there is a good enough response I would even like to form a Wisconsin Crawler Association and finally have a small club for Wisconsin Crawlers for by wisconsin crawlers

I will start it out

Carcrafter (Justin)
Beaver Dam WI (Dodge county)
Horicon ledge is my local park, but hope to locate some farther north for Northern crawlers
2.2 AX10 scorp
2.2 TLT (may return as a scaler)
2.2 Hi Lift scaler/trail truck
1.9 Scout Scaler
1.9 Party Van scaler

CrafterPrincess (my wife Kristine)
same as above
1.9 Tammy Trail Truck

I have 2 friends from my normal life looking for get togethers. a few more people willing to make this thing work and we may have something pretty cool!

I'm in for a GTG

I have a
1.9 scaler
2.2 scaler
2.2 comp rig
super comp rig
winter beater fast TLT rig

Around here scale trucks are king, no terrain to really take over.

I don't mind the snow to much as long as we can still drive in it (not hugely deep). I'd travel up to 2 hours for a decent location. Really in the mood for a wooded type trail area to run scalers. There is a great area in Machesney park, IL with creeks and rocky climbs.

That Ledge park was fun, awesome park I loved the freedom of being able to walk where ever. You could definitly tell the park wasn't in a highly populated area. Although it was lacking in the drivable rocks department. It could just be I wasn't in the right area.

I'm open to new terrain, although it is a bad time of the year to explore parks I really wouldn't mind maybe just making a couple weekend trips to local parks to see what there is.
