It doesn't really matter to me where we go like I said, but I'm thinkin' if we're are gonna do a big ol' bash I think High Cliff would be better. There's pic nic areas parking lots and bathrooms. Yeah it's gonna cost you to get in but it's only $7 per car.

Just my two cents

That's true, Super. More family freindly of an area. As for bathrooms, any ol 'tree will do for me, or that bucket I keep in the "redneck rv" .

Yes, A more family friendly place would work out. I am sure there are alot of places to crawl then what I seen the day i was there.

Also with it being closer to home, it would be alot easier for everyone to be able to attend.

I agree with you guys, PLUS High Cliff is so much closer for all of us

I think most of us should just get a state park sticker for the year...
Thats prob what I'll do Who knows what other parks we may find...

Has anyone ever checked out Calumet Co. Park?? it is practically right around the corner from High Cliff...

I've camped there several times, but I wasn't scouting it for R/c-ability like I do now...

well may 2nd and may 23rd are our last two comp dates for the series there are some tight battles going on from first to fourth so next sunday is out but what about the 9th at RG.Does tha work for you .

sounds like nate and t-buck want to attend so i thunk what would be gooder for those who travel 100 plus miles.

9th is Mother's Day, so probably a no-go for me. I usually cook out for my wife, our moms and grandma who are in the area.

14th, 15th, or 16th I could do.

As far as location, state park is cool by me. We've got the sticker on either car for the year. I can also bring an EZ-up if it's easier for you not to throw it in someone else's car, Kasper.

Check out the thread I posted on Potawatomi State Park-there are some pics...

It is a really steep area Cool- but almost to steep for R/C's
Nice campground, showers, really close to Sturgeon Bay though

I'll be coming from Racine. Mostly just interested in meeting you guys and hanging out. I don't have a true scale truck...yet. Any of you guys selling an SCX10 / Honcho?

Hanging out and running our trucks is always a good time! The reason I posted this as a "trail truck" gtg is because most of us have them, but we spend more time with the crawlers (comps, ect.). I just thought it would be a good change of pace. You're welcome to run whatever you want .

So let's get this done.

The 15th or 16th sounds to be the date all can agree on.

R.G. is my vote.
