Default Help with steering

Hope this doesn't make anyone mad. But here goes ,having trouble getting my ax-10 to turn as sharp as I'd like. I'm thinking the trouble is in the stock radio. My question is does anyone have spare radio with adjustable end points that I can borrow for the comp on Sunday? Accually need radio and reciever. Just want to try a different radio system before Ishell out for a new system. Thanks Chuck

End Point Adjustments will only allow you to limit where the servo stops in each direction (less than 100% l/r). If your current radio doesn't have EPA, then it will probably give you max throw in both directions. Disconnect your servo arm and check for binding in your linkage. If everything is good, try a slightly longer servo arm (or mount your steering link in the last hole out on the servo arm).Be sure the servo is centered at neutral steering, and reattach the arm. That will give you more travel. Let us know what you find.

I should probably ask if your servo is strong enough also. Do your wheels turn left and right to full lock with the front end off the ground?

Hey TrailDawg 362 I have my linkage in the last hole on the arm and I don't get full travel even with the wheels off the ground. Satan6907 JUst called so I'm going to get another set of eyes to look at it. Thanks Chuck

First off I'd like to thank Satan6907 and TrailDawg362 for the help .It turned out the stock radio was not letting the steering cycle all the way.Satan6907 is letting me use a radio that can be adjusted to 120% of steering throw. BIG THANKS Chuck
