1000 islands current water level

Since we all like this place so much, and because the water level is so inconsistent, I thought I'd start this thread so we know when we can crawl there:evil:

I do get there every so often...I'll update next time I'm there"thumbsup"

Anyone else that stops by check the water level out & keep us updated...

Friday 6pm dams are closed we were 3/4/away from crossing and looks like it is going to be time to crawl the flow was lightning up if the dams stay closed we are in there was one or two spots that are passable to get to the other side with maybe a 1 to 2 inches of water we did not cross but we sure could of

Since I couldn't make it to Red Granite:cry:. I got Rock Mnstr's truck workin' we took a ride over to 1000 Islands for an hour or so. Everything is accessible but a little slimy yet.

2.2 Pro-line Hammers on black 8 shooters, built up comp axles & trans I bought used on here, Dingo body I bought from T-buck, homeade links (8/32 & Jato rod ends, with alum sleeving), bought a SCX-10 chassis from hobbytown, prob XL5 & Axial 27t for now...nothing special- just trying to make it as bulletproof as I can. Alum shock towers are on the wish list..
Some cool scale accessories too..."thumbsup"

I need to build the driveshafts now- steel stampede outputs & pede shafts for now...I may switch to Maxx shafts If I beak too many pede shafts.

:evil:WET!!!!!!!!

kasper 07-21-2010 09:54 PM

Wet and flowing my guess is closed for the summer:flipoff::afro::badger::?:

TrailDawg362 07-21-2010 10:21 PM

The Fox was runnin' pretty hard through the flats, I'm guessing that T.I. is prolly the same...weekly flash floods aren't helping the cause. The marble sized hail and hurricane winds were a nice change though .

Super 07-22-2010 12:31 AM

Marble sized??? More like golf ball sized!!! Got pix too. My truck got hammered!!!!:x

TrailDawg362 07-22-2010 09:34 AM

Damn, that must have been wicked . The smaller stuff we got here was bad enough.

More rain in the forecast, we might have to wait for T.I. to freeze over before we can crawl there :lmao:.
