OOOPs, I will add the following to the flyer on monday;

"This will be a Best of 12 series, allowing your 4 highest scores (lowest finnish position) to be thrown out."
Your points only apply to the current comp for placement, once you receive a placement 1st 2nd 3rd ect... in the competition that is your score for that comp date.

Working out final details for the hobbtown series in the next day or two and the entry fee price will be reasonable hoping to see some new crawlers joining in on this friday night series.

The Hobbytown winter series is right around the corner is anyone planning on attending just sorta seeing what kind of head count i can get i understand some dont care for work and money spent but heres are chance to show Hobbytown how we are as a club and the good times had by crawling which could open doors for several other facilitys to step up and make our sport grow thanks for your time.

Gonna go. I don't know how many, I'm just gonna wing it. In the winter there's nothing to do so I might be there a lot. It all depends on the kid too, Mom usually works on Fridays. (I'm just rambling so you can stop reading if you want to.) There are one or two weeks that we crawl at HTO and Saturday we crawl again for the club series. That's not a problem, just pointing it out.
I do have a question though, If you're in a car and you're traveling at the speed of light and you turn on your headlights will they do anything?

Thinking are fall/winter series comp dates in oshkosh may be moved to the lower level rock lounge we will have enough crawling to be had at HTO unless thats where everyone wants to crawl the new course is going to be challenging at kaspers after the build is done there will be several cool obstacles it by no means is going to be a walk through the park.

Kaspers has never been a walk through the park! Like I said in the other thread I think we should keep HTO in the series, so long as we are not at a conflict with the slotcar guys. Not sure how often they are there.

Don't know for sure but I think slot cars are Mondays. The only thing we have for conflict are the dirt oval guys downstairs on Friday nights( mostly radio conflicts with non 2.4 radios) just my 2 cents worth.

How do we deal with the radio conflict, if there is one, or is it not that big of a deal?

The race director will have everyone's (carpet racers) freq's on the computer as they register, so a quick check with Bill wouldn't hurt if you're running channel specific AM/FM radios or if you suspect a conflict.

I have a wedding to go to on saturday, we could do a few hours work on sunday. I have a paddle mixer and a 1/2 inch drill if we are making small batches and a thinner mix.
