Starting to make arrangments for the fall winter friday night series who is interested and how often would you like to comp.

This will be hosted by the WiRCRC and run by Hobbytown usa Oshkosh this will not be part of the WiRCRC fall/winter series which will be a 6 comp points paying series.

Naturally i would hope more would be interested in WiRCRC series but lets get some feedback and schedule will be made for both real soon to plan our winter out early.

2 different classes to be run this winter 2.2 and 2.2 sportsmens class .

Whats your input thanks for your time

Chris I'm in for both series but I don't really have an opinion on how many comps to have Chuck

It could also be a Kilt, but I beleive kilts are only assoicated with "A" games, and Skirts are assoicated with "C" or "D" games.8)

So... We are still doing the WIRCRC point series separate??

Basically Hobbytown series is complete different entity??

Just trying to understand completely.

I like 7 p.m. starting time, We should judge 2 runs at the same time(4 Judges) (I know I know.. I will voulenteer to be one of em.) to keep it moving. Of course it depends on turn-out.

What the charge? Per entry. Who gets the $$ WIRCRC or hobbytown or split??

I pretty much plan on attending all of em.

You are going to need an apartment in the valley if you will be up here almost every week.

I don't think anything has been ironed out as to how it will operate at HT, but the money goes to hobby town just like for their dirt track series. The WiRCRC will help manage the comps so some of our members will need to make them selfs available for them. I guess once the schedule is firmed up we will need to get together as a club and assign dates to work the comps.

doesn't HTO close by 9:00 would a 7:00 start time leave us short on time? But maybe having 2 judging teams will offset that problem. Either way I'm in as long as when I judge I can also compete.

No they close at 8pm but they have the oval dirt track racing on friday nights and that normally ends around midnight give or take but yes the store closes at 8pm

I'm going to try to make some of these dates, but have never competed before or even seen one for that matter. I want to set a rig up and need some clarification. Can the same truck be used for both the 2.2 and the sportsman classes by just unpluging the dig? Is this something it is commonly done or is there more to it than that?

normally the rig can not have a dig what so ever if you have nothing going on aug 14th we are hosting a outdoor comp at Bay Beach behind the big blue slide if you would like to check it out pretty close for you off of 43 in Green Bay 1st exit before the bridge the dig question will be brought up in a meeting soon i personally dont care as long as its unplugged so its very possable.

I'm pretty sure I won't be attending all of them, but if my schedule permits I'll try and make as many as I can. If the whole family is there I'm not gonna want to judge, trying to keep four rigs going is enough work.

kasper 07-28-2010 12:55 PM

The hobbytown schedule will be changed it will not start in sept and one oct date is during the i hobby show so that will be changed some re thinking is being done and changes will be made so as of now no sept comps at hobbytown there dirt track program starts in october .

This will be discussed at the aug 14 bay beach since most who make decisions wil be there.
