We follow the USRCCA rules. We really haven't established a set of rules for the scaler comps yet, as there are only a few of us running. The main thing we focus on is fairness and fun .

Thanks Wicked, I should have posted the link. Although we follow the rules, we're not fanatical about it. If something on your rig isn't quite right, we will probably let it slide till it can be corrected. Would you be running MOA or Sportsman class? We have a few scaler 1.9 wheeled rigs showing up too, it's a growing class and lots of fun also .

If your running 4wd, 2 wheel steering, shaft driven and no dig, you'll be in Sportsmans. MOA or shafties with a dig are in 2.2 class,

I think the RS10 would run in the Sportsman's class, but I'm not familiar with that one (shaft drive, one motor?). We run that class and MOA's, since that's what most of us have. Just bring whatever you have to the next Hobbytown Oshkosh comp and run, you'll have a good time . We have a comp this Friday, stop in and check it out. If nothing else, you can run on the course for fun and meet the crew.

In that case you'll be in the 2.2 class, with the Bergs, Bully's and XR10s. As well as shafties with digs. If you were to run 4 wheel steering that would put you in the Super class.

Bring it . You would be running with the 2.2 gang, but no rear steer allowed (easy fix). Come check out our indoor course, I think you'll like it!

| Do you have a dig switch installed? If not and you are set up for front steer only we would probally have you run sportsman because you would have to use backups on tight corners just like the sporty rigs. Without a dig it is a bit harder to compete with the 2.2 class rigs...

We get to run the course be for the comps right? I want to see if I want to run 2.2 or sportsmans, seeing as I put the dig in.

Thanks for the clarification on that, Stinkyy. Wicked, you can run on the full layout before the courses are set up and gate markers are in place, otherwise it's considered "pre-running" which is against the rules. Depending on what time you get there, there's usually plenty of time for a free range run. |

Oh yea boy did I get it. Need new shocks, rod ends, and a new tranny housing. Seems the guy over tightened the screws a few times. Trying to sell my Losi 4" shocks with spring or trade them for a set of 70mm or 80mm shocks with springs. | |

My dig works and I still run sportsmans class and loose horribly. I just need to get my driving to my rigs ability.

| I think all of us that run MOA's have been spanked at least once by a shaftie, I have been schooled by every rig and driver out there at one time or another, even times when I don't get beat on a section I watch drivers show me how something should be done. I prefer to run the tougher courses to see what I can get my rig to do.
