What trucks are you guys going to be bringing? I'm not sure if my txt is going to be finished by then. Worst case senario I'll be milling up new tvp's for my txt tomorrow and then getting them drilled and setup my truck for sunday. But if I can get it operational with what I currently have left of a chassis then I'll use that

Just wondering what everyone is planning on bringing ?

My TxT is up and crawling, I figured out my torque twist issues and resolved it with the help of Mr Losi

So I'll be there tomorrow with my TxT, and my 1:6th nylint.

I'll probably be late as I've never been there before and I have to follow directions that usually take the long way.

I'll post pics as soon as I eat something for the first time today.

I hope you crawl better than you spell crawlerman, You Splled My Name Wrong !!

It's Jackyl, like the band, pronounced like the animal.

Otherwise looks good, 8 trucks 6 people.

Is it just going to be a free for all or are we going to have something setup to see who has the mad skillz?

Awesome time today, thanks to the people that showed up.

That little scale truck was mighty capable. It really was more fun driving/watching the TLT's then driving the super capable clods.

Pics look good

My TLT build up should be coming soon, I just need to secure some parts first.

Looking forward to the next meet.

Yup, that was a good time. I think the new chassis did pretty good. alot better than last time. still not as good as the sweet looking clods but I'm a shafty person. I ran for about 2.5 hours on 5 battery packs. alot better than last time. the 55 turn really helped. and I didnt break a thing.

cole, when I first saw your tlt I didnt think it would do too well but it went every where I did and them some. that is a sweet truck. The body fits it well. The pics turned out great.

I got some video of the day. about 45min worth. I can make a copy and send it around or if someone wants to make copies of it and distribute, that can be done too. my camera men weren't very good but there is some good footage. kinda choppy but everyones truck is on it.

Maybe next time we could do a comp. maybe camp out or start earlier and setup a trail to follow. just an idea. anyway, can't wait till next time. cant come soon enough.

Nice pics guys! It was really interesting to see all the trucks. And meet you guys and talk about your builds.

The hike on the other hand I felt was un-needed. Later when you guys went off to the other side to run the tlt's I found multiple area's that were just as complex as the ones that we were driving on that we had to walk to. and the nice thing is if you break something you don't have to hike to get tool's or extra parts.

This was really an experience for me. I guess that I'm not a die hard crawler!! I'm more of a trail driver. I would much rather drive on a trail that has been laided out with various obstacles than just randomly drive on stuff like what we did. I lack that interest that you guys do for what you guys were doing.

I doubt that I will show up to this type of gathering again. I will however probably go back to devil's lake with a few budies to crawl on some of the various terrains that they offer. But no hiking will be involved

You guys all had awesome tlt's!! I'd comment on the clod's, Something about them just says "WeaK" almost like god mode in a video game, you loose the fun of the game.

Dude, I can't beleive that your coming off as that much of a dick on a public thread? Good luck getting anyone else to show up next time.

Your the guy with the clod I see, probably the one that didn't have a clue on anything that I was talking about. And thought that a clod was the begin and end all. Comps are not held putting both clods and shaft trucks together.

Your the one that said "it's all about winning comps, and that is why I have a clod" Yeah, your the type of person I want to spend my time with.

And for the record those red rocks sucked, if they had less sidewall it would be a nice tire, or even if you didn't drill the holes in the rims to allow air to escape like a dog toy, it might have worked better. They might have been some interesting tires on my beadlocks.

The guys that I know that were going to come would not have hiked. We are used to driving right to the spot where we are going to go. But that is fine that you guys wanted to do that. It's just not everyone's bag. I found just as much stuff just a little bit away from the parking lot, Not to mention this wicked little trail with a water crossing, that was some fun right there.

Hey mnster, I forgot my yoke. The pin through the plastic one worked fine so I guess I didnt think about it. Hang on to it or I can pick it up next time we meet.

p.s. I thought we were adults? comparing shafties and clods is like comparing apples and oranges. there is no point in arguing about it. I'm not taking sides or trying to get in the middle, I'm just trying to keep the peace.
