What are you thinking?
Something like once a month(may-sep) totally separate from Regular comps or during reg. comps?

Once I month I might be interested in. Weekly or bi-weekly is pretty rough, coming from Racine.

If you (and your crew) could make a few scale comps or fun runs up this way, that'd be awesome .

We'll try to keep the thugs off the street this time! Grant Park or Petrifying Springs could work well for a "down south" event.

I'm getting Spring Fever Can't wait to get my rig muddy

Since most of us run a SCX-10 based trail rig-I vote for a Honcho/SCX-10 spec type class(details TBD...)
or are we going to go by the Scale comp rules?

We just need to remember first we need to see what kind of turnout we get second with the economy we really dont need to make those who show have to spend anymore money on there rigs to keep them showing up for more events so my thoughts are lets just see what happens more or less for fun and bragging rights.

I will be hitting several of the national events this summer so we need someone to step up and make plans for this all to happen but yes we should start to make some kinda of dates and places for this just my thoughts but i will try to make them if it all works out.

So lets start making ideas and class structures lets get those who will show up there ideas of what we should do

I'd like to know what people think about allowable tire class for these events. I was about to order the RC4WD Mickey Thompsons, but if Class 2 is out, then I've gotta look elsewhere.

I don't think we'll be taking the class rules too strictly. I hope we do observe the 2.2/1.9 division of classes though . Beyond that, I think it'll be mostly a "run what ya brung" kind of thing.

Well, then, I'll slap on some new tires and hopefully have trails I can see again soon!
