Default Anyone in Southern Wisconsin?

I have a scx10 on the way, does anyone know some good spots in southern Wisconsin to run? I will definitely bring it up to devils lake when I go, but it would be nice to find some closer spots. I'm down near lake geneva.

Most of us are in Northeastern Wisconsin, Green Bay/Appleton area. Try Googling your area for parks and recreational/nature preserve areas. There's gotta be some nice spots near you, from what I remember it's nice country out your way. Of course, you could always head up this way...

I'm in North Racine area, Fanke19 is in Kenosha. What part of the state are you in? I think there's some guys near Janesville, too.

Yeah its a bummer Lake Geneva MX got closed, I used to race there too. I have family near Appleton, so I may head up to High Cliff soon, looks to be one of the better spots? Is it more trail running there or rock crawling, or both? I am pretty far South east, about 20 minutes from the IL border.

I'd say High Cliff is a pretty good mix of both trail and rock. Be sure to post up when you're headed up there. I'm about 20-25 minutes away from there, and there's a few other locals who might show up for a day of rc'ing .

That's plenty of space! With some nice lighting, it would work out well.

Once the knee / leg is healed up, I'm willing to haul rock and help with the layout.

I hope to get up to High Cliff sometime this year, I know I'll be going to devils lake a few times. Do people run there very often? My parents also bought some land north of there up near mauston, I haven't tried it yet but there should be some good crawling spots there. I'm planning on getting a true crawler pretty soon for when I head up there in the spring.

If you're asking about High Cliff, I'm there almost weekly in the summer. We'll be scouting out some other local spots too. We often get a group together and trail the afternoon away .

Thats cool, Ill try to hook up with someone when I head up to High Cliff.

Have you found anywhere in Elkhorn to run? I have a decent spot at my house, and I have gone to Price Park a few times, but theres only a couple rocky spots and some hills. Do you drive any other RCs? I have a few offroad tracks, good for mini-1/8th scale.

Thats cool, let me know if you want to come out and run at my place. It's pretty good for everything, I just got my 2.2 crawler and there are plenty of lines to do. The tracks should be prime this spring also.

Silver lake park has a few good spots, and Petrifying Springs is pretty much a crawler heaven

Where is the best spot at Petrifying Springs? I havent been there but I see there are MTB trails, so if I can find some good crawling spots it would be worth the trip for sure.
