I had a great time as well. Good job Ben on your first comp.

We are planning on moving the course at Hobbytown on Wednesday April 4th at around 4 pm. Any and all help would be appreciated.

Outstanding first attempt! Thanks for comin' out. Didn't know you came up from Milwaukee, though.

Hopefully we can get a bigger turnout for the end of April comp. I was asked to post up pics and video on Facebook, so I might need someone to 'man some cams' for me at the next comp. (then again, if the wife ever saw video of what my poor truck goes through, she might never let be buy 'look-good' parts ever again!)

I gotta say, that course has pulled 'em in from some pretty impressive distances. Just so far as I'm aware, that shop's had visitors from locals, Sheboygan, Wausau, Minnesota, Milwaukee, and Indiana. Kudos to the WiRCRC members who got that put together.

Welcome new guys! Maybe I'll get to meet a few of you somewhere along the way.

Speaking of comps, where and when is the next one?

Correct.

The one after that is the final comp for the winter series, May 12th. It is scheduled for an undetermined outside location. Seeing that is only a month away it is probably time to start putting out some ideas for where to have it. I would say that having it at Hobbytown would be an option as well as we will be running a "new" layout.

I'd have no problem with that.

Are there enough areas for 3 good comp courses per class there?

I was only there once and all I remember is young girls in small bikinis. Were there even rocks at all?

Well, I charged my batteries, test drove the crawlers, chased the dogs around the house, looks like I am all ready for saturday at HT.

Much to the chagrin of the Missus (I'm sure), I have every intention of being there.

I haven't touched mine since last comp, so it should be ready to roll........ But Tower had a "we want you back" sale, $20 off a $60 purchase, so I got a Sidewinder Micro on the way. Might be some mad-crazy electronics installation going on Friday night.

Big Heavy Bully, Ax10 with major torque twist, and the Losi Comp Crawler in non-dig mode so I can use it as a sportsman rig.
