I am willing to make some custom bumpers, tire carriers, sliders, and possibly a full tube cage depending on what body will be ran on this beast, just let me know. |

| Will do. I have 2 sets of WK axles, one w/alum. upgrades and several sets of gears. I could always sell them and get some Axials if that works better.

| That is entirely up to you, it may be for the best... Just b/c of servo & link mounting... WK axles are fine otherwise, just a little wider. The servo mount won't be a issue if we frame mount the servo...IDK too many options lol |

I have some of the things I posted up as donations, up for sale in the F/s section...I am trying to sell them to raise a bit of $$ for this build. I will still donate said items + more- they will just be more build appropriate now. Also anyone have a TQ-3 to throw into this???? even am... A 3rd channel is always nice, and I have a servo winch I'll throw in if we find a TQ3! Kinda disappointed in the lack of enthusiasm for this build... you never know what people out there will trade for... Even if you don't have exactly what we need, try to trade your extra stuff for what we need. At this point I'm going to say that only contributors to this build are eligible to win it, and it will not be a raffle. Unless there is more interest. Maybe we could try a raffle build in the future? |

3ch jr radio we can use for the build if needed. What we really need to do is lets figure out a date we can host a fun day crawl and have a wircrc meeting to discuss where we see the club going from here.We need mew ideas and such. |

While traveling to Fleet Farm Today Kasper and I were kicking an idea around pertaining to the build. How about instead of building a rig to give away, the club builds a sportsman capable rig and we bring it to all our comps and fun runs for any would be club members or newbie rock crawlers to drive. I would think most of the Wircrc members already own a crawler but may be a little apprehensive about having a newbie trash their comp rig. Last year there were a few times when allowing a bystander to crawl in a comp may have added to their interest in the crawler side of the hobby. I think Chris may even have an AX10 rig to add if the first one draws interest. If it gets damaged (and it will) we can work the repairs just like the build, donations of parts or cash for parts. I like the loaner/trainer rig idea better than the give away but that is just one mans opinion, lets kick it around... |

Excellent idea! I think it would be great for the club to be able to hand over a rig to an interested bystander and say: "Here, take her for a spin". No better way to get them hooked .

Lets build 2! I thought about the loaner rig idea too. I have already paid for people to send us parts for this build, so I don't want to scrap it! I will still donate the chisels and the axial wheels to the comp rig build, & I will figure out something for tires/wheels for the trail rig build too I want to keep the trail rig build a donate and your in type of thing... |
