well I have a design for a comp chassis but if I can get these to import into cad My Uploaded Files than we will have a few things to work with

"Skala V2" looks very close to the X-Trail chassis, and that Manta one would be cool for a bodiless crawler build .

Comp is saturday at the llrl lets start rounding parts up for the build bring parts this weekend and we can see what we need to complrte our first build

This is what we have so far:

Trail rig build:
  1. chassis from crawlinisfun
  2. WK axles from traildawg362
  3. 2ch or 3ch tx/rx
  4. shocks from R/CMaxximus5.0
  5. servo winch from R/CMaxximus5.0
  6. 27t Axial motor from R/CMaxximus5.0
Comp rig/loaner rig build:
  1. Chassis from Kasper
  2. Axial wheels from R/CMaxximus5.0
  3. Pro-Line Chisels from R/CMaxximus5.0
  4. 2 or 3ch tx/rx
  5. Axial trans from Kasper? (may need a few things)
  6. 55t Axial motor from 401jeeper

Kaspers LLRL is the designated drop-off for parts, for both builds.

I will post up pics of build progress once we get parts together, in a new thread for each build.

We talked about the WK axles being donated and I said I could sell them in exchange for some Axial parts. Those at the comp thought this was a good idea, so I'll be posting the following parts for sale:

1 set of stock WK axles w/spare R&P gears

1 set of WK axles w/STRC c-hubs and knuckles, RCGuy axle servo mount and RC4WD rear straight axle adaptors included

1 stock WK trans w/East End Machining clocked motor plate

and whatever various WK parts I have laying around.

I'll try to get pics posted this week in the For Sale section.

Just got off the phone w/Kasper, He sold an extra RC I left at his house.

I told him to kick in $50.00 from me towards what-ever you guys need towards the builds.

I dropped a bunch of parts off @ Kaspers for the builds...

I'm going to set a goal of finishing off the comp/loaner rig before the end of this years (2011/12) comp season.

The trail rig finish goal will be before spring, so it will be ready to go once the weather gets better.

Hopefully this will give us enough time...
