Just west of Chute Pond Dam, right off the road. Looks worthwhile to check out.

As long as it is not private property.

Did you notice the spot just north of there. Just the other side of the lake?

I added some pins in that area. See if those are the areas you are talking about.

The point is full of rocks. Tons of lines back and forth across it. Not huge, spent over an hour there and never crawled the same line. Lots of fishing done here, might need to bring side cutters for the fishing line.

I'll have to take a closer look, a few look promising.

WBLteen, I know that area. I used to spend a lot of time exploring along the Fox as a kid. There are two railroad bridges very near there, almost died on one of them.

Nothing much for crawlers here
Rocky Arbor State Park - Wisconsin DNR

Some interesting hill climbs, but they are all loose dirt, sandpaddles would work best.
Lots of mosquito.
Did I mention the mosquitos?

Just joined because I am looking to get back into crawling and want to see if people in the Wausau-Plover area are still active...Quick story I used to have a crawler (AXIAL SC-10 kit) but sold it because I only drove it alone but am excited about the new Traxxas TRX-4 and if that turns out good and can make some crawling buddies near me that may get me back into the hobby.. so anyone out there interested?

There is a Facebook group called
"Central Wisconsin R/C Crawlers"
That would be a place to start. I'm south east of Stevens point but do visit parks in the plover/Point area a few times a month to go trailing
