Not it. It's not a crawler.

bigred22 02-22-2013 09:03 AM

Yes but almost everyone is locking the front and making it a trail truck and they say it does awesome

I honestly don't have any interest in independent suspension for crawling or that style of chassis. It's basically an 1/8 scale buggy tub chassis with a solid rear axle. I'll wait for you guys to get one first.

As soon as I sh!t out a gold brick....wait, that's not gold .

I thought the EXO was cool too, but I'm easily distracted by new-fangled rc's and shiney objects.

I have one! I know I haven't been out crawling with you guys but I'd like to meet up this year. The twin hammers is awesome though. Your right, it's not a normal crawler. I have mine stock, and it's a lot of fun. It's a different driving style then a solid front axle rig, and the 2 speed is pretty cool. I would imagine it would be a lot more of a capable crawler with the front locker, but for now I am having fun railing corners and jumping rocks. I consider it more of a trials/endurocross RC, haha. For whatever reason, I keep coming back to wanting one. Maybe it was all that dirt offroad racing I did this past winter . Anyway, I might have some unexpected cash coming my way, so don't be surprised if I show up with one!

It's ready to run, so if I leave it alone it won't sit on a shelf unfinished like most of my stuff :lmao:.

There was a demo TH on the counter at the store. It had a broken steering servo at the time so I didn't get any wheel time with it. With a mildly fast motor it looks like it'd be a fun little rock racer. I already have enough money pits though ;-)

There's been alot of people burning up the shift servo on these, be careful when adjusting the endpoints. Just a heads up if you get one.

Ya in about the servo there's a detailed guide horizon hobby release on how to properly set the end points on it so it last more then a week
