Devils Lake, WI Pre comp practice event

Headed back to the lake next Sunday the 1st. Plan to get a little driving in before the Iowa comp. Possibly attempt to a run a comp course to make sure we are set for the week after.

I'll be there with my Super clod. I'm going to tear down the TLT, Devils Lake is really super crawler territory anyway. The ground clearance is great. But, the torque twist and driveshaft binding isn't. I like the truck, I can drive it at comps and win. I just feel I have the drivers skill and not the rig to express it with. I'm thinking angled straight stick design similar to Cole's except not a torsion design.

I interested to see what your angled design but not torsion, will look like.

I thought about the angled stick design, being that the shocks would be mounted to one side of the stick I would have shock placement issues. I have this crazy idea for a forced articulation chassis, just don't know if I'll get around to it though. I've had the idea in my head for a really long time just don't know if it will work right.

Soya, may or may not make it, we have his truck opperateable. We just have motor cog issues, driveshafts pop off, and the servos glitch, typical bugs for a new truck. He works at the LHS so he is going to bring the truck into work tomorrow to see what he can do.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 72. Calm wind becoming south between 6 and 9 mph. YEAAAAAAAH bout time!
