What is your gearing? Are you still stock 80-20? I'm pretty sure I could help you make that truck live a little better. I've got about 5 or 6 hours on my wraith kit and am pretty happy. I put in 32p gears this weekend, just to be safe but its pretty much stock still. with a few small tweeks.

Pm me your # and I'll try to help you out a bit

Sounds good Super. Gonna bring anyone with you? So far only Santaever is the only one who has chimed in on a time of 10 am to meet. How does that sound to people?

So here's what I know works for the wraith and is cheap. Duratrax spur gear dtxc9397. Its a 32p 56 tooth gear and its the biggest that fits under the gear cover as far as I know. You could go to 60 tooth which is what a lot of people run according the wraith forum. With no cover. I have an 11 tooth pinion as well. This takes you from 4 to 1 ratio,to a 5.09 to 1 (56 t).

It is not a high quality gear and is kind of narrow, compared to my 4x4 slash gears. But its better than 48p. I will be looking for a better quality gear. But i will also eventually upgrade the tranny too. NO modifications at all. It presses on tight over the slipper hub, no need to shave it, just a very tight fit. This lowered my motor temps a lot.

I would also look up wraith driveshaft mod. I am going with the 2 female halves with the floating male between. Only instead of an aluminum insert I think I'm just filling the male shaft with an epoxy. I don't have the right size aluminum and I think this will work.

Get 3mm x 6mm long machine screws for the chubs to attach to the axle, and rear lock outs. The stockers work out too easy. I bought 8mm long and there too long in the front. This could wreck your day as well.

Shouldn't cost $15. Assuming you have the extra driveshaft pieces that I think come with the Rtr as well.

I've seen some pics from the Baraboo guys, the place looks incredible. Not sure if I can make it though. It's a long ride and pretty early for this guy.

I haven't found any baraboo guys yet. Talked to a few people I used to race with that were from baraboo and Reedsburg area but they got me no info.

You could always come later if that would help. My cell will still get texts in the area and it wouldn't be hard to find everyone.

I don't have an exact address. I just looked up "pewitts nest baraboo" when I found out about the place.
Basically ,if you can find baraboo, go there. Walmart is on hwy 12 at corner of 12 and W. Turn west on W. Can't be 3 miles off 12. It is a small parking lot that maybe holds 10-12 cars. Not counting Brian's humongous truck that holds 6 people and as many crawlers as you would ever need.

I suggest some of us meet at walmart at 10. I have several of your numbers, but if anybody else wants to, you can pm me yours. If you can't make it before we leave just text or call. Not the best signal but text goes through for me anyways.

I think 11 will be the earliest I can make it. I'm expecting to hit a bunch of traffic on the way down, Jefferson carshow/swap meet is this weekend.
