It was very fun I could spend some more time at the far end of trail where we turned around

I had a good time yesterday, other than breaking my shovel... that section of trail is great.


I look forward to the next outing in two weeks (June 21st or 22nd)

On Saturday, someone suggested we get together again in two weeks. That's the 21,22nd I think.

That would have been me. I will have to do some more looking around to see if I can find anything else new. I cant afford to drive too far so coming up north is kinda difficult. Not to mention the wife would be even more upset because i would be gone even longer because of driving. One of these days I'll get caught up with bills and be able to travel

I got kinda busy. Right now I'm thinking I'd like to do something next Sunday. Talked to charlie and Brian about possibly hemlock draw and or baxters hollow. I know I would like to try to do a planned outing about every other week and I think charlie is on board with that.

I will try to start up a new local thread for get togethers in our area to keep people notified. Don't know what to call it yet though. "Weekend at Brian's " is out. I asked him to look at a place near him, says its a bust. Kinda hoping charlie will check out gibralter rock near lodi for me(hint hint). I'm going to try to get to ferry bluff with the dog tomorrow if the rain holds off. Don't have high hopes for that though. Maybe it'll be " bill and charlies excellent adventures"!

There's always devils lake any day! I know there's got to be more real good places out there but I can't go too far from home right now, so I'm searching near home for what I can find.

Is anyone from the far reaches interested in coming down this way next weekend? Maybe I'll try to put in some more effort and see if I can pull another pewitts nest out of my ass!

I'm in! As long as my trans gears show up. Stripped idler last week. I would have to do Sunday though. Helping a friend next Saturday build a workshop so I can build my bronco in it!. The long out forcast shows possible rain Saturday right now. That'll probably change to Sunday as the week goes though.

Alright super, so where and what time? Can't be too late, the parking lots got full and they closed the north shore entrance last week with signs. I know you guys work 2nd shift, but I would suggest before 11 if you can. Even 10:30 would be better.
