devils lake June 7 or 8

So we did devils lake last weekend but so many went home early. The group that showed up early did the west bluff trail, and that was fun. Then a couple of us tracked down super, his son, and dawg on the east bluff trail. That was awesome! East bluff has sooooo much more going for it! I believe there are days worth of crawling at devils lake. It just costs money to get in.

I propose another day on the east bluff trail, possibly starting from the south shore. Why, Just because. And if it sucks on that end we just keep going. Trust me, it doesn't suck on the north end.

I don't expect people to be coming from too far away.we were after all just there. I know super has plans it looks like. So if you guys that like to leave early want to get there even earlier, let's discuss some strategy. Or we just show up late and go till dark again. .

I'm pretty sure I can count on charlie. And probably Brian from Reedsburg. How about you guys from sauk? Anyone else?

I will be there I will have extra seats if some one wants to ride with me I have a season pass so it won't cost me anything to get in but just be forewarned I will stay as long as I can if it's not broke I will keep going lol and bill can you tell me where you got the metal for your wraith I want to make some panels for mine

Edit never mind I have to work Saturday and have a craft show Sunday but would come out after a for a bit

I got mine at ace hardware. They just happened to have some sitting on the shelf for the last couple hundred years. They also have it at the hobby stores in small pieces. Ace and true value should also have it in the hardware section. Probably farm and fleet as well

We could start early so we miss the crowd. And it will be cooler. Saturday morning looks nice as of now. Sunday has more of a chance of rain.

Just throwing this out there, possibly 9 am Saturday? Little earlier?

I'm good with Saturday at 9 we should be able to get a good amount of trailing in to because of less traffic on the trails now wraith or jeep

I'm working 7-4 Saturday and already got plans after work...I'd be in for Sunday but the weathers not lookin good.

Alright, I've been talking it over with the voices in my head again and it sounds like Saturday morning 9 am, north shore parking lot near the trailhead for the east bluff trail.

I can't wait it's goon to be fun striped a wheel on the wraith today so I have to get new wheels the stock ones are junk but I stole the 2.2 off my dingo and bill you can't laugh at me they look tiny lol

I believe tomorrow is a free state park day! So no admission fee. Save 7 bucks to get in if that makes a difference for anyone that may not have a park sticker.

I'm hoping to make it back down there again this summer, it's definitely worth the ride. I'm sure I can talk our little group into another trip or two. This weekend I'm gonna stay local and crawl with the Super clan, but we'll have to get something planned out for another D.L. get together soon .
