Yeah, long day of walking. We left shortly after you did. Great day of Trail Truckin' at Lower Cato Falls today. 5 hours of exploring with phenomenal temps and weather, as well as among some new friends! Had a total of 8 trucks and killed it! Lots of photos taken, and a bunch of video to edit. Thanks to all who made the trip out. Hope to do it again this fall for sure!

Watch your step...

That's a pretty cool place. Had a great time.
Has everything, trails, hill climb, rocks and mud. Good times!

Not sure when I'll be able to make it there, but Oct is probably a good bet for a big group run again. The place is open so go and have some fun. Working on getting that video out. Having some problems with one of my old editors accepting the GP files at the moment. Maybe we should just drop a date and do it. Anything but the first weekend of Oct, and Sunday the 12th works on my end.

Default Another strike!

Ok everybody, it looks like a group of us will be heading back to Cato Falls for a fun run on Sat, Oct 18th. Meeting in the East lot(turn right at the fork) at NOON, and heading out from there. Should be a great time once again. Especially with the lack of rain. We should be able to get into some new areas along the river. Post up with any questions.

That's awesome news! Just got word that we'll have a few more prizes. For those that haven't seen some other posts, there was an area last time where people spent about 30 minutes trying to climb a certain hill along the crawl. We'll be trying it again, and if anybody manages to conquer it, they'll be in for some sweet prizes. Rules will be that it must be a crawler, and no winches/tow straps to aid you.

I'll be tossing in some tow straps for the first two who make it up the hill. Arron from SSF, has also donated two tire covers, and Troy from ATx RC Addicts has sent me a "King of Hammers" light kit for the first one up as well. So, there are some cool things for somebody for sure.

As of now, I've heard from these people as a definite go.

1. Myself
2. Tom K.
3. Arron S.
4. Josh A.
5. Stan D.
6. Corperate & a few friends
7. Brandon R.

According to Mapquest, about 2 1/2 hours. If you come, there are people I know in Baraboo who crawl as well(Scott Shulze). Maybe a car pool?
