Default Cato Falls

It looks like I'm going to be heading back to Cato Falls with some friends this Saturday June, 14th. Just wanted to throw and invite out there for anybody who would like to link up for some trail trucking. I figure on meeting up in the parking lot around 9am and then heading out for some fun. Catch some lunch somewhere in Manitowoc, and then head out to the shores of Lake Mi to see what it has to offer. If anybody is interested feel free to post.

I'd like to check out Cato Falls but we already made plans to go to Whitefish Dunes State Park.

A fellow crawler from Michigan is staying in Sturgeon Bay for a while and we are gonna take him out crawling Saturday I don't know if you have ever been up to Whitefish Dunes but it is well worth the drive.

Saw that post and thought about it, but I've got some friends coming up from Baraboo to run with me. Otherwise I probably would have pulled the trigger. Always another time for both. We'll get that run in yet, lol. The pics from Sturgeon Bay look killer.

You should come up to Whitefish. We should be there around 11, 11:30.

Hi all. Myself and a friend of mine are going to be at Cato Falls in Manitowoc Co. this Saturday, Aug 9th for some trail trucking/crawling. I'm trying to get as many people to go as I can. I know it's short notice, but it's a fun place to explore. Bathrooms on site, fishing and an 18 hole disc golf course as well. Plans are to meet around 1:00 and head out from there.

Would love to finally meet some of you this weekend.

What a ridiculously fun day at Cato Falls. The river was down, and opened up a new area to explore. Had a blast fording some water and attempting some gnarly climbs up the slopes. Hope some more of you can make it next time. Unfortunately, there were some visitors who came and left their aluminum cans laying on the bank, as well as a lot of fishing line in one spot. Pick up after yourselves people! There are others who would like to enjoy these areas without cleaning up after you fools.

Nice pix.

The thing I hate the most is the fishing line.

Here's a quick video that my friend made from our last run at Cato Falls. The pics are great, but the video just brings it into a better perspective on the types of terrain we hit. Great vid Tom! It was a blast, and I can't wait to see more people there to join in next time. Make sure you click "HD" to enjoy it in it's quality.

Let's Do This!

Ok Scalers/Crawlers, it looks like a few of the boys are going to be heading to Lower Cato falls once again. Sunday, Sept 14th at 12:00 noon. If you haven't run this place yet, it's worth the trip. Lots of little areas to explore, and try your skills. Lets see how many people we can get for this. Links posted below with a video(make sure that you click HD for best quality), and the Cato thread on RCCrawlers.com, which has more pics from our adventures there. Hope to see you there on Sunday! Safe travels! Turn right when you get to the fork in the road to enter E parking lot(staging area).
