Devils lake, baxters hollow, ..... The out of the way places are the ones to go to early in the year, before the grass starts to grow. Should be nice this weekend

i appreciate it, ive spent some good time on devils lake. do you guys have any dedicated sites or just trail? do you have a fb group ,etc? thanks

we set up alot of trail runs on here and its kinda a word of mouth thing and we all kind pick a location to crawl at we hit devils lake alot because of the amout of stuff to run on but there are a few different little spots we hit up also if you like water i might sneek out saturday morning to run a pack through but will be mostly testing the changes i have made to my truck

I'd be up for something sunday. got a b-day party sat. all day thing
red granite would be nice but not in the budget this week
mite like to try baxters. getting burnt out on the same 7 rocks we always do at devils lake.pewees was awesome last week. dried out perfect. if a couple guys would bring a rake, we found another trail that would be cool minus some leaves

I would be up for baxters, but with this rain now, I think there will be too much water.

I like pewitts, its just that I can do the whole thing in about an hour or less now. There's more than one trail at devils lake and that one trail could take 5 times longer than pewitts.

bill brandon and i went all the way to the south shore one time there is a good amount of stuff to hit on the way. it just means skipping the first part of the trail and walking for a bit before you start running or you will need to do a day worth of trailing to hit it all on the south shore there are some fun things to do but getting to them can be a pain that's why we normally go on the same two trails on the north shore

east bluff trail all the spots are on the edge of the trail.
did the west bluff trail once, not worth doing it again. alot of walking in between obsticals

Creek beds are out of the question this weekend. Everything is flooded all of a sudden. Devils lake looks the best to me. Can always do some scouting for future gtg plans.

East bluff trail going south from north parking lot, head up the hill and there's hours of stuff to climb. That was pretty much all we did last year. West bluff going south again up the hill the stairs are all an obstacle basically, but not much up top. Tumbled rock trail, I'm sure you could find things to play around on. There's the lower trail behind the east bluff I want to check out. I remember walking on a bunch of rocks with the kids school group a long time ago... There's lots of places to Che k out there. Just need to start walking
