Hi Bill... lol, ran out to Parfrey's glen today & the creek is awesome. You do need a waterproof truck if you are really going to have fun. May check out Pewits Nest later... The AX10 super bug is really working well lately. Need to blow the dust off of the CR-01 one of these days. |

We should figure out a day to make a day out of running obscure trails (away from tourists) this coming Holiday weekend. Baxter's Hallow, Hemlock Draw, Hanson Basin off Neuman Rd. or Griegol Gulch off of Tower Rd...? Who's interested? |

I am not familiar with griegol gulch or Hanson basin. Yes I found them on the map, but not much info. Have you been there? How's about Saturday? I'll ask the wife at lunch today if I remember

Haven't been there, but may be worth checking. The drive way is gated to the one but there is a parking spot there.

Had time to check out: Hemlock Draw - Over grown & lots of bugs. Hanson Basin off Neuman Rd. - Flat trails & narrow creek. Griegol Gulch off of Tower Rd - Grass land, unsuseable. So that takes me back to a creek run at Parfreys Glen, always fun. The "GE Silicone II" that we've been using inside servos & on seams has been solid. (do not use acid based silicone on electronics) Add a big dab dielectric grease on the output shaft of the servo & they have been problem free underwater. The 60amp ESC water proof "QuicRun" line from Hobbywing has been solid too. Gabe |
