Yep same here time to tear down grease up and save up for more parts lol

Re: South Central WI 2015 crawling schedule and events.

One thing Zach & I have found is Plastidip & liquid electrical tape is very temporary.
Something that bonds or "glues" its self to the parts is way safer.
If & when the plastidip gets a chance to peel away you're done.

I use the old school Traxxas receiver box from the original Slash & my ESC is factory waterproof.

I also use a dab of clear dielectric grease on most of my connections (servo extensions, bullet connectors, deans, etc.)
F&F has it in the automotive dept, it is basically silicone grease. You may never need the big tube, but it will last forever.

Since the last owner poked little holes in my tires I take on water, I need to brake it down & punch larger & more holes for drainage...
Squeeze my tires & it looks like a darn squirt gun  :lmao:

Does anyone have a set of fender flares from the dingo they could sell?

Re: South Central WI 2015 crawling schedule and events.

my esc and servo are waterprof. I use the stock rx box and filled the gaps with rv rubber silicone.

I got my friends old dingo body here (painted up a new one for him)
I'm pretty sure he would part with the flares zack.

I just need to take my truck apart and fix all the small issues like the stripped holes in the transmission the super weak slipper regressed everything and new body for my scx10 and same for the wraith lol I don't have anywhere to work on my trucks at the moment though

I found a set of dingo flares for my cherokee(thanks to mike's friend)

I have these beadlocks, they are 'narrow' 2.2, 12mm hex, etc.
They will not work on my AX10 because the tires rub the shocks when I use them.

Anyone want to trade?

Sunday?
Z & I were looking at having a little fun with the Kyosho Blizzards on Sunday.
Maybe Pewits or something simple...?

Sunday Sunday Sunday!

Screw that, I'm staying warm and watching the packer game! I'd like to see those blizzards throw some snow though.
On a side note, do you think that small screws run through from the inside of the tire out would work for ice studs in a crawler? I know Zach's rig would shred them :mrgreen:! But something with a little less power maybe....

I studded my monster truck a few years back, but I did it like the bike guys do (sharpen the heads) and even the weight of my savage wouldn't make them dig in. That was on solid ice.
Hard pack snow it might work. You have to remember too that the tires get real heavy after you put all those screws in there.;-)

That was 480 screws to do all 4 tires:shock:

Re: South Central WI 2015 crawling schedule and events.

if u want bill, I can make a u a set of chains for $15. I would need 1 of ur tires to get the size right.

I kept the front ones off for now. just the back 2 make a huge difference plowing snow.

to much snow for my truck on the rocks. got a couple hunnydo projects and plan on watching the game. video of the blizzards would be nice.
