Default Spawnmonster Concept Vehicle

This has been haunting me for a few weeks now. Is it possible I've just finally lost it?

This kit + Proline Destroyer tires/Clod wheels + some upgrades for durability. It would take a killer power system and a very strong servo.

Do you think stock axles will hold up to those big ass tires and all that power?

Guess I'll find out pretty soon. I might have to do Beef Toobs along with the Vanquish parts to make them stronger. Picked up the kit today, tires and wheels should be here later this week. If all else fails, I can run the stock tires and have a nicely built up Wraith .

Added some beef to the list, along with the VP Stage 1 kit. The Spawn kit comes with CVD's and 7mm aluminum lower links already.

Any time, bud!

Tires arrived Tuesday, the other goodness came Wednesday. It's been a bitch having all that in front of me and having to leave it sit for some free time to build.

So how's the spermmaster coming along?

Probably going to need some better driveshafts. I think you may want to look into new links as well. The axial rod ends don't like big tires, or my driving. One or the other.

I personally like the idea of a monster build.

And now that you have all that money spent, I have to inquire as to why didnt , or did you, not look into that kyosho foxx, I think its called? I would have to think that would be a stronger platform. But then again, I don't really know much about it either.

The Kyosho Foxx is nitro I think. Very cool but terrible parts support in general at the local hobby shops. The Wraith has huge aftermarket support as well as stock parts being available.

I think I did ok with the upgrades, went for the beef instead of the bling. Better driveshafts are an option to consider. I took the Tower "easy pay" option and got the mmp and Tekin Roc 412 3100 kV motor, saved $30.

Bringin' the pain! (in my wallet). After this ridiculous project I'm gonna try to focus on some much needed completion/maintenance on some of my other junk.

Crazy, ain't it? Constant mandatory overtime pays for it all. Just tryin' ta have a lil fun along the way!

I still need to find some strong 2.2 plastic wheels to glue/bolt inside the Clod rims to give me the right offset. Clod wheels are deep!

The plan is to run some droop brackets to lower it for crawling with the stock tires, and by raising the ride height be able to monster truck the mother!

Ran it last night, Ford-boy! Stock tires (which SUCK) on my old comp wheels. The Tekin Roc 412 3100kV is impressive, smooth low end torque and plenty of wheel speed.
