Devils lake, Pewits nest people
 

Just curious I'm assuming there is a Facebook group. I just can't seem to see any people heading to Devils lake and Pewitts nest.

I've already joined

Southern Wisconsin R/c Club

Badger state Crawlers (Green Bay area)

Good time crawlers (Appleton)

Just looking so that I can adventure north this summer and hang with the locals it seemed like a big group and following last year. But, now it seems pretty quiet which makes me think it took a jump to Facebook.

im on good time crawlers and there are only a hand full of us still crawling but we are still here i was just at pewits nest today very muddy but still fun got to get a park pass for devils lake still

Winter gets pretty slow on here. I wish the Facebook guys would frequent here, everything in one spot."thumbsup"

FB for the short attention span crowd, RCC for real world knowledge and experience "thumbsup".

If DL and Pewits were closer, I'd be there all the time! The 2+ hour drive is a killer though.

Yeah I miss the old RCC regional section prior to the Facebook take over. Was way easier to see area events and find event photos when you wanted to travel. Besides when we would meet we would know each other by super cool screen names. Look at each others build threads, ideas and club newbs would read up here on this site and not ask so many questions. Perhaps the golden days of the regional section.

I guess I'll keep a eye out on my feed then for events. If nothing else I'll just say I'm going and see who shows up.

Two hour drive but I've been craving some of the Baraboo Quartzite. Illinois mud is fun but crawling is where I started.
